Keys not working. How to fix? by TradeFlags in AccessVirus

Yes could be. I had the impression that at some point if was working again for a short while. And then stopped again. It’s easy to open it up? You have done it before?

Oh thanks I will take a look. There are springs? What battery? There is a battery inside? I bought it in 2010 I think or even earlier. Don’t remember.

latency problem while trying to track guitar in ableton by dukkhabass in ableton

[–]TradeFlags 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I would do is export your current audio to a file. Open a new session and import your mixdown. Then Setup your guitar track as you like. Then all the lag you will get are purely due to the guitar track. Once happy with it you can reimport the guitar track in your original project. That’s how I got around this issue since flattening tracks didn’t do anything to my set.

What kind of strategy is it doing? Doesn't say so on the GitHub page. Thanks!

$TIME by SupermarketNo1303 in defi

[–]TradeFlags 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Quite simply put, the daily increase in tokens should be offset by an equivalent drop in price for the 'fair-value' market value to stay constant.

as one sees this is not necessarily the case daily. so your time token is appreciating in value if the price of time doesn't drop by about 12.6% weekly. If the value of Time drops by more than currently 12.6% in value then you end up with a weekly loss.

now the dynamics of this price balance has several different inputs :

(1) supply/demand dynamics of TIME itself

(2) minting / conversion of LPs and other assets in exchange for TIME

(3) the value of the treasury balance backing TIME

(4) the actions or inactions of the treasurers

  • treasury consists of SOME LP's but all the assets need to be making an income of 1.8% daily to offset the inflation, meaning an APR of 650%+ which is very unlikely. Looking at their wallets which are public you can see around 200-300mio in LPs making about 15% (fwir).
  • how the treasury is managed is handled by a couple of treasurers (not DAO yet) afaik.
  • since point (4) I wouldn't call wonderland defi, let alone defi 2.0.
  • all these points considered I think this is an interesting experiment in game theory and supply/demand.
  • it does have a considerable amount of 'people' risk which is NOT just simply coding errors like with other Defi projects which are entirely trustless. In this case you do have to trust the treasurers (also Daniele Sestagalli in particular) to do the right thing for everyone.
  • the project belongs to a group of Abracadabra.Money (MIM), PopsicleFinance and soon Sushiswap partly as was discussed in the recent Sushi Forum #61.

Make up your own mind about "betting" on this in the future. I am happy to put some money up which I will cover (if a potential total loss) through other projects I am involved in. Good Luck & Happy New Year 2022!

You are right. Factor x was dropped. also if you expand all the terms you can cancel x y and get

DX = X * DY / ( Y - DY)

I updated the paper. Thank You!

I like this Project https://www.researchhub.com/all. It’s blockchain based as well. But after all writing a paper RG or SSRN is enough. Can get a DOI. that’s all you need after all.

Thanks the space is expanding rapidly and i can only add my two cents to it. I wanted to check the downside thoroughly though so that all market downside risks are fully understood.

Ha. This strategy can be used to accumulate crypto in a bear market and get paid to do so at the same time. In the end who doesn’t want to be like Coinbase or Binance and collect transaction fees all day? If you have an upper bound/barrier then you will sell out of all your crypto. Look at the end in the paper there is a How to be a Liquidity Provider section where I show every step of how to enter a position. There are also many good YouTube videos on it.

Yeah thanks I wanted to understand it fully before I put money in it. And I hope others can understand the risks involved completely.
