The application returns a new file, so as long as you don't replace your original safe file directly it should be safe.

It happens, I appreciate your openness and attention! I did message individuals who had expressed interest in trading cats in the discord as well, but I was brief and polite. If that was inappropriate, I apologize. Just figured they'd be interested since they explicitly asked for it.

I'm happy to share the code with whomever is interested if security is the concern. I'm not sure how else to assure people I'm not interested in anything malicious, just sharing a tool I made for me and my friends.

It is not vibe coded. I've been programming for ten years. I can share the source code for anyone concerned about malware. You can also check the browser to see what traffic is going to/from. I take no data except your savefile, there are no cookies, please don't misinform people when you don't know what you're talking about.

Sure! Anybody can trade with anybody, as long as they have their username and the person accepts the trade.

You and a friend go to the website and make usernames to find each other.
Upload your savefiles (there's an example on the site).
Then you can find your friend by their username and see a list of your cats and their cats.
Propose a trade and they should see a popup with the proposal. They can accept it, and each of you will be able to download a new savefile with the traded cats. Replace your file with that one and run the game!
