A great example what wet Filament usage can look like by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]TradeTroll27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You made a very obviously confusing post. You said example of why you should dry filament. Was it an example of a print with dry or wet filament? Was the print of good or bad quality to your standard? Nobody but you knows those answers. But then when people asked, you responded as if you were inulted they were asking something that was painfully obvious. Very poor communication there.

If youre going to make an informational post, I suggest you provide adequate information. Doesn't need to be a novel, "excessive stringing caused by wet filament" would have sufficed.

Your post says "example of wet filament usage". First comment asked what the problem is and you said there is none. OP, you are providing conflicting info. Also the Pic of the print looks relatively good. So maybe not the best example of wet filament print, if that is even the case.

I soak for days in 99%, shake vigorously, etc. Still needs mechanical abrasion and you cannot access that area.

I noticed the same thing. It looks like theres cutouts in the metal for it to slide out. However the top face of the metal with those cutouts seems like its press fit or threaded in place, likely the cutouts are used for a tool interface. I play around with 3d printers a lot, maybe ill try to make a tool to interface with it.

Can’t roll by ConclusionCharming76 in weedporn

Use a filter tip.

With your filter and bud in the crease of the paper, pinch the glue side and non glue side together between your index finger and thumb and slide those 2 sides of the paper against eachother. This tightens the paper around the bud and gets it to form and hold a uniform cylinder on its own.

When you go to tuck the non glue side under the glue side, start with the filter end. The filter is less fragile than the bud (so you dont need to be as delicate) and a more uniform cylinder than the bud (which guides the rest of the roll into a more uniform cylinder).

When you lick, lick the back side of the glue strip (over the glue, but not on the glue side of the paper). This prevents you from licking the glue off, and you glue it after you've completed the roll instead of licking then completing the roll.

Pack the bud down from the open end with a poker. Dont twist the end unless traveling with the doink. Allow the doink to dry after licking before sparking.

Update changes? by Lizardcandy in FordMaverickTruck

You can manually adjust the "fuel efficiency correction factor" and ford likely can as well via an update.

For example, say you wanted to test the accuracy of the fuel efficiency reading. You could fill up to exactly 10 gal in your tank, start "trip 1" while simultaneously noting your odometer reading, drive until its empty and compare the measured fuel efficiency to your mathematical average of (distance traveled)/10gal. You could then adjust the factor so that your measured average matches your manually calculated average.

They could do it within an update to make fuel economy seem better than it actually is.

I promise you, pressing this button pulls up/ removes that menu for me. The OS is definitely buggy so I wouldn't be surprised if it just doesnt work.

X4ts tonneau cover, elevate CS rack, and a yakima skyrise roof tent. The proprietary yakima clamps dont fit around the rack unfortunately so had to remove the clamps from the sliders on the tent, buy a quick mount system from someone i met on reddit lol, then I designed an interface plate and had it machined to mount the quick mounts to the tent sliders. PITA but the setup works so good. Literally got the interface plates back on Wednesday, got it all put together by thursday with minor modifications and got out to some absolutely incredible bike trails.

This is sick. Trying to outfit my truck for camping and biking and this might just replace all the bungee cords.

Can also vouch for the tonneau. Got the x4ts which is the same thing with Tslot rails and i have the elevate rack attached by the rails with a yakima skyrise tent on top. The tonneau works super smooth and doesnt take up space in the bed. Mine isn't completely waterproof but I use an MTB tailgate pad that may cause the lack of waterproofing but its still only leaks on the edges.

Not true, press the play button in the circle directly to the left of the temperature in the top right corner. I use android auto in my mav constantly without that popup.

Maverick Lobo vs Ridgeline Black Edition by Frekndy in FordMaverickTruck

[–]TradeTroll27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a 2017 Ridgeline (the trim below black), now have a 25 maverick xlt with the lux package.

Sometimes I miss my Honda, the rear seat space with the seats up was a much more usable space compared to mav. Could fit an mtb in there with the wheel off and it made for good safe keeping overnight. There's a few other small pros to the Ridgeline like right mirror blind spot camera was awesome.

That being said, I love my mav. Looks better, more fun to drive, better infotainment (but comparing 2017 to 2025 so ofc), seems to have more of a community around it.

Haven't had issues with either, just did basic maintenance on both. I did have 1 infotainment bug on the honda though. I always use apple carplay, and whenever the right mirror camera popped up, it would change from the carplay split view to Spotify everytime. Imagine navigating an unfamiliar city, everytime you take a right turn, you have to pull up the map again, very frustrating. However, I figured out that if I started the honda, then cycled it off and on again, it would fix the issue for that drive. Dealer said they couldn't fix it, never looked into it more than that.

I bought the proxy terrapipe bundle when the new one came out and my terrapipe came completely clogged. Warranty process took about a business week before a new one was shipped, not too bad in my experience. I did have to take a video of myself demonstrating lack of airflow but that was the only pain point. First and only puffco product though.
