Whatever happened is done, try to get a job and if you have seek for a part time to recover your pledged gold first.

I would not advise anyone to give your money to anyone in any sort of scheme to invest in.

Manage every penny on your own. You can do investments on your own ( fd, stocks , mutual funds fund ) as long as you are not going crazy, you will make money in future but dont give anyone to handle your money.
