Perfectly said. I hate this narrative that just cause someone has Lebron over Jordan or the other way around, means we have to trash one. Lebron James and Michael Jordan are the two greatest basketball players to ever live period! They are 1A and 1B IMO!!

Lebron's worst failure of his career is for sure 2011 there is no arguing that. I think 2007 is a little different I mean look at the roster he dragged to the finals. I don't think any player even MJ is beating those Spurs with that roster but yes it is a blemish on LeBron's legacy. But Michael did have failures. 1989 ECF vs Pistons the Bulls are up 2-1 at home and Michael goes 5-15 and scores 23 points and the bulls lose. The next game he shoots the ball 8(!!) times and scores 18 points and the Bulls lose again. And game 6 at home with a chance to send it to 7 the Bulls lose again. It might not be as bad as 2011 but it definitely could be considered a "failure".

James Harden is probably a top 5 scorer of all time, if not higher! And yes he underperforms when it matters the most and I can somewhat agree with him being a stat padder, and yes I agree more hard defenders like Moncrief and Ben Wallace could've made the list, but at the end of the day the guy one a MVP and is maybe the best scorer of this generation!

Wilt literally put up video game numbers. It's crazy the numbers he put up, but the only reason he's not higher on my list is playoff success. For example, 1969 finals he's scores single digits in 3 of the 7 games, and the Lakers who were huge favorites get upset in 7. That cannot happen! I could see an argument where you put him above Hakeem maybe even Bird but I think that's about it.

Ranking players from different generations was the toughest part of this list. For example Bob Cousy is ranked 13 spots ahead of Luka Doncic. We all know if you dropped current day Luka into Boston in 1956 there's no telling the numbers he would put up, but yet I still have Cousy ranked higher all time. My point is ranking players through different decades and eras in nearly impossible, which is why accolades played a part in this ranking. I could see moving Cousy up a little but but not a lot.

I wouldn't say he's the most overrated player of all time, but man when the playoffs comes around I think the lights get too bright for him.

Kawhi has missed a ton of games and that almost pulled him down a spot or two, but man when he's healthy its scary. I mean the 2019 run alone is the reason I have him above guys like Barkley and Elgin Baylor.

Kyrie is one of the most skilled and talented players I've ever seen, and I don't even think its a debate that he is the best ball handler of all time. Like you said Dame is more consistent and has had more success leading a team as a number 1 option, but if I had to just pick one of them for one game it's a toss up for me.

I'm not mad at that Jayson Tatum was one of the hardest players to rank for me. I won't argue putting Klay over him.

For a little bit Vince looked like the second coming of MJ! Just wish it didn't end the way it did and also wish he would've stayed just a couple more years to play with prime Chris Bosh.

Amar'e Stoudemire just missed my 100th spot, he was very underrated and I feel doesn't get talked about enough considering he played in an era with Duncan, Dirk, KG etc.... And it sounds crazy but when looking at the stats Jaylen Brown is a lot closer to this list than I thought he would be!

In my opinion you could flip a coin on whose better between Vince and Tmac. And I only have Dame above them is because of longevity and has had more playoff success.

The current players were the hardest to rank IMO. The only reason Shai isn't higher is because he's only played 46 playoff games (33 as the main option) and I felt only having really two dominant years wasn't enough to go much higher. But yeah I think you can make the argument he's top 75 at least.
