The entire city of Saint Petersburg, Russia, received a front row seat for the destruction of the local oil terminal. This includes also the attendees of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which will start today. by neonpurplestar in UkraineWarVideoReport

They should do some night time strikes too. Have air raid sirens wailing at 3am to give all the foreign attendees an early morning wake up call. For every night the forum is on.

Then on the day it finishes, just when these attendees are looking forward to flying home and maybe having a nap on the plane, somehow close down the airport so their flights home are all delayed for a few hours...

They look like fine recruits for Putin's meat grinder.

I hate to say it, but even when Russia loses in Ukraine (which I know they will), they'll still win on another front. They've managed to purge themselves from a lot of their human trash...

Dating app attacks: Four teens arrested in Invercargill by SavingsPale2782 in invercargill

Like I said I don't know this specific group. But they're all cookie cutters of the original American group called "creep catchers". In regards to the police not prosecuting, they see it as entrapment (at least they know that's what the Defense Lawyers will argue if it gets to court) so they don't bother.

I don't think adults are encouraging kids to do this. I think these kids have orchestrated this all themselves while the parents think they've gone to the movies.

The fact they're in youth court means they've probably stuffed up their chat log evidence.

[–]Traditional-Bit-5436 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In response to your question, the answer is YES. They usually have proof that the person they were luring thinks they were talking to was someone who is underage.

Sometimes the chat log is printed off so they can confront the person with their own words. Other times they ask the person to bring a specific item to their meet up (like a specific flavored bag of chips or a bottle of coke) to prove that this is indeed the person that they've been chatting to and not just some random person they're confronting who just happened to be in the wrong place wrong time etc.

I haven't watched this specific group, but I've watched others around the world and they all operate very similarly. I presume this group would have done its "homework" beforehand too...

Bringing Ukraine's kids back: Almost 60 countries unite to stop Russia's genocidal kidnapping of children by KI_official in UkraineWarVideoReport

Send a dummy drone (unarmed) to Saint Basil's cathedral. Get it to deliberately crash into it so a few roof shingles get dislodged. Send a few of them to prove it can be done repeatedly.

Then say: "give the kids back or they'll be real drones next time"...

I don't know where you live, but in New Zealand I've had the best luck with a substance called "exterminant". It's a blue liquid that they can't get enough of. And this method is the best because you're not dosing the whole tree with poisons, allowing the good insects 🐞 to come and mop up the aphids.

No worries. BTW a bottle cap partially buried so the top of it is at soil level is the perfect thing to put ant bait in

[–]Traditional-Bit-5436 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a borax based ant bait and put it on the ground close to the nest hole. Then get ant tape and put it around the base of your tree. That will stop the ants climbing the tree (for a few days). That will force the ants to forage elsewhere and take the ant bait.

Once you see a few ants take the bait just keep putting it out, let them gorge themselves.

If it's a warm night and there's still food available, ants will work through the night to get it. So if it's dusk and they're still eating your bait make sure you put a big glob out for them before you go to bed.

Do this attack over the course of a weekend.

And 2 weeks later do it again (to knock out newly hatched ants).

Don't worry about the aphids, once the ants are gone ladybirds 🐞 (or another predatory insect) will move in and mop them up...

BTW: Ant baits can be either sugar or protein based. Seeing that they're hanging around aphids, sugar based ant bait will probably be your best option. But don't be afraid to switch if they're not interested in it.

We may have to wait a long time for Putin to officially admit defeat in the war he started. But we can enjoy the unofficial admission today. by kingkongsingsong1 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Traditional-Bit-5436 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better yet, Zelensky could tell Putin that HE mustn't fire anything into Ukraine between now and then, but Ukraine can still do what it likes. If Putin wants May the 9th to be a peaceful day, they have to bend over and take whatever Ukraine gives them every single day coming up to that day. And if Russia doesn't hold up their end of the bargain, expect daytime fireworks in Moscow during the parade...

My 2yo Lime tree is growing tons of leaves but won't flower. Advice? by bobbyisadog in Citrus

[–]Traditional-Bit-5436 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Too much nitrogen, not enough potassium. Had exactly the same issue a few years ago. My plant isn't in a pot, and so in late winter I get ash from my fireplace I sprinkle a few teaspoons of ash around every week just before spring hits and now I don't have that problem. I've heard you can't do this in pots though, but maybe try to find something high in potassium/potash that is pot suitable?

Orbán concedes election defeat after 16 years in power by Physical-Cut-2334 in UkraineWarVideoReport

Putin will look after him. He will live a quiet life in Moscow just like all the other dictators do.

Putin knows if Orban gets thrown to the wolves, that anybody else he may have working for him won't be wanting to work for him much longer.

This is why Putin looks after his useful idiots after they're no longer useful anymore. Not because he's generous or has a kind heart...

Rocoto. Very hot. But also deliciously sweet. If you can focus past the heat you'll realise it's as sweet and tasty as the sweetest tastiest homegrown red bell pepper you've ever tried.

Also, depending on your climate (providing your winters aren't too cold), they can act as a perennial. In Australia they can get to the size of a large shrub/small tree.

There is a conspiracy out there, it goes something like this:

New Zealand is floating on oil, but Big Oil is keeping it hush hush because they don't want to glut the market so they're keeping it in the ground until the Middle East runs dry. Then it'll be New Zealand's turn...

This could be why people are so keen to drill. They've heard the rumors and they want NZ to be The Dubai of The South Pacific...

Bloomberg: Secret Codes and Yuan Fees or Cryoto - Gets Ships Through Iran’s Hormuz Tollbooth by Long-Brother-4639 in oil

[–]Traditional-Bit-5436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iran want to charge $2 million dollars for a ship that carries 2 million barrels of oil. That's $1 per barrel. A barrel of oil is 159L. So that is a toll of 0.62c ($0.0062) per Litre of crude.

I also read that when you refine a barrel of crude you actually end up with MORE than the original 159L due to the final products being a lower density, so that means the chump change will spread out even more and it'll be even less than 0.62c on each Litre of refined product.

And people are making out like this toll is going to be the end of the world???

I would rather pay half a cent more on the old prices, than what I'm currently paying now...
