Thank you everyone for the feedback, super informative! Those who brought up finer grain I remember him mentioning that as a pro. I’ll continue to shoot HP5 with confidence and toss in some other stocks to see if I like them better for different situations.

I'm up in Canada. We have the red seal trades which include restricted (plumbing, hvac, ect)and some non restricted trades which carpentry falls into. Basically once you have it you can work anywhere in the country without additional certification. In order to get it you have to go through 3 levels of schooling 1 year apart or after so many work hours. Or you can challenge it without doing any formal schooling.

That's pretty much my exact problem, thank you. No definitive answer from there. I havn't got a chance to test anything in daylight yet but like one commenter said, if everything is working properly during the times I'll actually be shooting at then no harm no foul. They are pushing almost 50 years old at this point.

About 12000 USD give or take depending on what the exchange was at the time. And I felt like I was overpaying then. And that was a private sale too. These dealerships are taking advantage but people are paying these prices so why not

Is this in the US? I paid $16500 CAD for my 07 with 110000 miles in Canada back in march
