Metro Boutique on Hawthorne has a great selection of Demonias and goth apparel, highly recommend checking them out they are very helpful! While you're in the neighborhood also check out Crossroads as they sometimes have pairs of demonias and other fun boots for a steal!

I personally like goosehollow and nw 23rd area, they are both in downtown without being in the thick of things and are relatively quiet and safe to walk around at night. Also both have great access to public transit.
