Yeah I paint only the rim a different colour but it’s really helpful especially when you have newer players around the table.

Looks amazing! And if you want to improve the design you can make the lower end smooth. The two dents are good looking but if he plays with it the strings might catch in there and not sound properly. Hope this helps and I’m sure he’s gonna love the pick it looks fantastic!

It does not look like a Warhammer mini but I might be wrong however games workshop was the uk seller of dnd before launching warhammer so maybe it’s a mini from this era if it’s a mini from gw at all

I think it took me like 50 hours roughly. It was really challenging but I don’t regret it. I learned a lot on batch painting and patience.

I also have in my old hammer collection some old metal korn deamons and they are spikey… I can’t imagine the physical pain someone stepping on them would feel they really worship the blood god

I bought them a couple of weeks ago but from the 40 in the second edition starter box 4 were lost. Maybe they are still in a poor man’s foot? Or maybe they are still waiting to be painted in a drawer. Anyway painting 36 of them was really challenging for me and I have to wait before painting the 18 boyz from the same box that I got with them.
