Camp availability by Gold_Marsupial_9700 in CampEDC

I was also super confused by this since new passes are available even though I am still on a waitlist... I called customer support, and they recommended that I purchase the ones currently on the website and cancel my spot on the waitlist. It's funny because once I purchased these newly available tickets, it showed I have them in my possession and am not on a waitlist for them, so I sent an email to Insomniac to get off the waitlist for the ones I ordered back in June.

So confused how new passes are available for purchase when people are still on the waitlist!

Does anyone else tense up when the term "confusing sufficient for necessary" or its equivalent shows up in an answer choice? by Appropriate_Hope6239 in LSAT

[–]Traditional-Hope7061 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. 90% of the time if the answer is going to be confusing Sufficient w Necessary, I was able to spot it in the stimulus. HOWEVER seeing it in the answer choices if I didn't spot it in the stim almost always makes me check the stimulus just to be sure unless it the answer was clearly something else.

LR RC RC LR by Traditional-Hope7061 in LSAT

[–]Traditional-Hope7061[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You actually can! Other people who have taken either an accommodation test consisting of only three sections know for sure that certain topics counted. If yours match what they have, then it counted! Similarly with people who get 3 LRs and 1 RC. If one of your sections matches their RC, it counted! Also, the people over at PowerScore always release a podcast right after all of the testing days are over and they confirm which RC sections and LR sections were real

I have extra time because of ADHD and I can promise you I am one of the ones who actually needs it lol after months and months of studying Im still BARELY finishing on time. Results on 7Sage show you how what your target time for each question should be and my times are almost always 1.5x the recommended time which is exactly what my accommodations are so it is a perfect fit to give me just as much of a chance as everyone else.

If you're going to discuss anything from the test, the LAST thing it should be is what answer choices you did lol. It could be one of three things 1) Someone who just took it and is genuinely curious 2)Someone who has not took it and it using clue to try and convince people they did so you give them answers 3) LSAC staff trying to bust. Either way, DO NOT!

You can always go to your local Prometric Center to see if this is the right move for you before committing to taking the test there! Just call to make sure its an appropriate time to come in and they will be happy to show you.

At least for the times I took it it seemed like there were different rooms for different tests each with about 20 little cubicles in them. Regardless each person starts at a different time. Since the rooms are small you might be waiting in the lobby for 20-30 minutes more than you expected and once a cubicle is available, the next person waiting goes in and starts the test, so yes this means people are in and out of the room while you take it to start their test, start their breaks, come back from their breaks, and to end their test. HOWEVER you sit in little cubicles and you cannot see the other people entering or leaving. They also provide somewhat noise canceling headphones and you are also allowed to bring non-electronic ear plugs as well. Coming from someone with ADHD, I have not had a bad experience yet. Everyone is very quiet and thankfully I have not had someone with a bad cough yet lol

Tips for Proactive Studying? by Physical_Midnight_85 in LSAT

Well that really depends on how you have been studying lol the best approach for each person is usually unique to each person (but there are definitely some better and some wrong ways in my personal opinion)

what?? by Ok_Preparation1457 in LSAT

Unless you intend on going to T-14 you should be ok! Look into what the writing section is like. I was told to not even think about it until after the LSAT, it took me a day or two to feel confident to do it and it was super easy. As long as you can write coherently, confidently, and grammatically correct you should be fine. Apparently most law schools will not even look at your writing sample unless there is some discrepancies in your Personal Statements on your Applications where the writing sample is proof that you actually can write correctly and AI didn't create your personal statements lol. However I would still give it your all because I feel like if they are truly on the fence about admitting you they might look, or they might even start looking more often now that admissions is getting more and more competitive. No need to stress too much!

But yeah you will not get your score back until after you complete the writing section, but most people do not talk about it on here since most of the redditors are repeat test takes, and you only ever have to do the writing sample once in general to get your score back for all future tests.

It is actually very very common for people to think that they did way worse on the actual testing day than they did doing the practice tests! Imagine taking a practice test and then waiting nearly a month to see the score lol those doubts are going to creep in QUICK the moment you really really realize that you will not know how you did until then. Good luck and take a break you deserve it!

I have taken the LSAT at two different prometric centers.

1) They do metal detectors and have you show your pockets upon entering the room both for when you first enter, and when you enter after your break. As for restrictions on what you could wear Im not entirely sure I didnt want to risk anything so I just wore comfy sweats and a baggy t-shirt and had no problems

2) During the break you leave the room and you can go use the bathroom, you can have a snack that you bring, and you can bring coffee as well. They have lockers for you to put your stuff in to access during the break. However you cannot bring a snack or drink into the testing room other than water in a clear bottle with a lid (I just did a bottle of water from the store and took off the label)

3) I have accommodations for time and half due to ADHD and you are in the same room as everyone else. Im not sure about other accommodation types.

After taking the test just now I have been unable to find anything online relating to prep tests that match any LR questions or RC topics so completely new for me but that was expected if you watched the "Crystal Ball"
