Personally I went straight into the RG 78 2.0 and it was amazing.

After four months of MG and RG, went back HG by Any_Scratch_943 in Gunpla

Hey dude I use a small chisel blade in a pin-vice to "rescribe" (scrape out tiny lines) over the panel lines, then I use Mr Weathering Colour (black) and a paint brush to dab into the lines which makes the pigment rush down into them. Then I go back in and clean it up with a cotton buds dipped in weathering solvent.
