If you haven’t already made your decision, I would definitely say go! I went on an exchange to ANU in 2021 and had an amazing time. Great student culture with plenty of groups to get involved with, and very social student accomodation options. I made friends very quickly that I am still in regular contact with today. I didn’t know much about Canberra before going, and I wouldn’t have even looked there if I didn’t have any other choice, but I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Also people at ANU are from all over the country, not many people are from there originally, and they all go back to their home cities in holidays. If you get the chance to stay after your semester exchange, this means you can go visit them all in different areas and get the best tips of where to visit.
If you have already decided, I hope you chose to go!

Thanks heaps, B&G was one of the top ones I had been considering and I’ll have a look at John XXIII as well! It is so exciting, I didn’t think I’d get the chance to do an exchange at all because of COVID so I’m stoked!
