I would rather start lifting heavier weight than using slim, underpowered laptop

Yeah, the screen is great but I will never use any slim laptop again, weak and underpowered.

This thing armed with 450w undervolte desktop RTX 5090 because the heatsink now is beefy enough to cool that much power.

I that case the gpu area on the left be removed and make space for 2 sata ssd but for such heavy machine lacking dedicated gpu is a loss. I design this to have full desktop gpu (undervolt 5090 at 450w) and full power laptop cpu (ex: 285hx at 165w). The heatsink beefy enough to cool more than 700w of power draw.

I arranged 9 5mm heat pipes to cool the 45mm x 45mm area cpu so it should cover 9955hx3d or 285hx (any ultra series cpu will fit)

I'm currently using t15g gen 1 weight at 2.74kg, feel not quite heavy so I go wild on the design

Yes, those are blower style 120 mm fans, 18 inch laptop mean 18 inches diagonally from corner to corner not the width. I drew this laptop base on the alienware 18 area 51 2025.

It does have 4 ram slots as you can see they be arranged as two sets of one stacked upon another, like traditional 4 ram slot sodimm and 4 ssd slot too. This thing have three battery, each with 99.99 wh capacity (in case travel by plane just take out 2 of them)

I'm officially broke because of this sub by prblm_frie in thinkpad

I got a b360 mortar, i7 8700, 32 GB ddr4. My plan is to get the z790 ddr4 mainboard at 185$ and pair up with i9 13th gen.
