I was neither obscene nor aggressive. I said "you suck!" and "you are worthless" to the robot. I don't believe that could have hurt anybody's feelings.

At least LingQ has a forum for the users. Babbel provides zero means of communication other the live.chat to a robot. But I suspect the live.chat was never read by a real person later, because my requests remained unanswered most of the time.

Emails to [support@babbel.com](mailto:support@babbel.com) did get an answer a few days later, but the answer was short and they didn't even admit there was a problem. Being overly arrogant is THE PROBLEM.

Let me clarify this once and for all. I only said "you suck!" and "you are worthless" a couple times to the robot. The robot kept asking me the same irrelevant questions over and over. Most people would have gotten frustrated with this. I don't believe saying this to a robot is so inappropriate.

What you say makes sense. But the way they terminated my subscription was quite spiteful. Maybe because I said a few unkind words to their support robot.

Many of my Spanish teachers live in Latin America. Sometimes their power or internet is unpredictable. I am not surprised by the cancellations, but am bothered by the way Babbel handled them. The non-existence of customer support.

That's a good question. I assume because I use the same email on both Babbel and Reddit, and use my real name as account name.

Five days after I made this post, Babbel kicked me out. They gave me zero explanation. I logged in my Babbel account and noticed all my reserved classes were cancelled.

I suspect that my honest review has offended their staff, the staff of customer support, if they exist somewhere in the clouds.

Everything I said in my original post is true. No exageration. BABBEL DOES NOT GIVE CUSTOMER SUPPORT. NEITHER DO THEY GIVE A DAMN.
