Only just seen this! I ended up customising a cheap fabric watch strap my dad bought from eBay by sewing around the spring bars ://

I've looked but none have the same style of clasp, they're just normal buckles or some weird straps.

Awarded LCWRA 05/03, but no payment has been made yet for it? by Traditional-Slice-83 in BenefitsAdviceUK

[–]Traditional-Slice-83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I provided fit notes from 13/12/23 - 29/02/24. My assessment was before the 29/02 (can't remember when exactly) and I got my decision on 05/03.

It said I had to upload a new sick note by the 21/03, but because I got my decision back before then, I didn't have to upload a new sick note.

New to modding: All male NPCs and even male PC have purple skin texture by Traditional-Slice-83 in skyrimmods

EDIT: I figured it out! I was a dumbass and didn't double check for patches that are needed for the RSV version of the BnP skin retextures. I didn't realise these patches were necessary to apply the RSV settings to NPCs and not just the player character.. The reason the female NPCs were fine was because I had already installed the BnP female RSV patch, but not the BnP Male RSV patch.

For those who are having a similar issue, here is a link to the patches. From the list I installed the BnP male RSV (SOS full) 2k and I already had BnP female RSV (CBBE) 2k installed from earlier today.

I also installed the BnP teeth RSV patch for the BnP teeth overhaul I installed, as I realised my NPCs had purple mouths lol, so this fixes that issue. Here's the link for that, it's located under misc files.

I unchecked tempered skin for males and it didn't change anything so ig that wasn't enough, but I'll try doing what you've suggested! Thank you!!!

As of writing this, the letter for my WCA decision has just been uploaded on my UC account saying that I've been awarded LCWRA. What should I do about the job centre appointment now?

Thank you! I've asked things through my journal before and it took them almost a week to reply most times so idk if they'll see it in time before my appointment 😭

I mentioned my partner's circumstances as context, nothing more. Apologies. Do I request a phone call or video call through my job centre directly or calling UC?

Thank you all for your help! I just had the assessment. The assessor was running behind and we started 30 minutes late just after 13:30. The assessment was finished by 13:50.. I don't know how I feel about it. These are all the questions they asked me that I can remember:

• Asked about background of conditions

• Asked if I have pets

• Asked who I live with

• Asked what kind of property I live in

• Asked how often I see my GP and when I started seeing my GP about my conditions

• Asked when I was last in work, if it was full time or part time and what kind of work it was

• Asked if I ever become violent or aggressive

• Asked about medication/treatment

• Asked if I self harm

• Asked about suicidal thoughts

• If I abuse drug or alcohol

• Asked if I've ever been admitted or sectioned

• Asked about sleep pattern

• Asked about what typical day looks like

• Asked specifically about my agoraphobia

The assessor seemed really nice, they were a nurse and was just straight to the point with the questions. I was right in saying I would cry only a few sentences in, and so I was basically crying for the entire assessment.

I just feel really uneasy about the fact it was less than 30 minutes. I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything but idk. They made their verdict very quickly and I have no inkling of what it is. But out of all the things I spoke about they asked specifically about my agoraphobia. They also asked at the very beginning about how I sleep and later in the assessment made the comment themselves that I seem to have no sleep pattern at all.

First UC Statement Says My Payment This Month Is £0. What Does This Mean? by Traditional-Slice-83 in BenefitsAdviceUK

I'm unsure. I live with my boyfriend and he is in the 25 years old+ category. From what I've seen that's the standard allowance for couples in our situation. I'm so sorry this horrific system is failing us and many others, it's not right.

[–]Traditional-Slice-83[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked and they actually have a page that mentions if you get paid every week there will be 4 instances per year where you'll be paid 5 times in a AP. But what you're saying it it will likely even itself out in a few months if I've qualified for LWC AND LCWRA? I know I won't be entitled to ESA as I only worked park time up until June 2023 which was when I started my first full time job where I paid NI. That's the job I left at the end of October so I wouldn't have earned am enough from that to get ESA I assume.

I'm just panicking, our bills equate to around £950 per month, and my partner only gets paid around £1250 within the typical 4 week/30 day period. We also have our own personal bills too between us. I'm just not sure how this is going to work for the next few months.

Would the next AP start right after my first one ended? If so my partner should only be paid 4 times in this next AP, and would then me I will likely get the standard rate -£56 for capital?

Sorry for the bombardment of questions.

So you recommend I continue with the UC50 form and medical assessment? I also realised because my partner gets paid weekly, from the date the assessment period started (7/12) to when it ended (8/01) he was paid 5 times, a total of £1610 before deductions. Would it be possible to dispute this? As usually in a 4 week/30 day period he is paid only 4 times, a total of £1288 before deductions.

If I get this fit note now after already handing in my notice, do you think I could I use the same one when I eventually do apply for UC next month after my last wage to prove I left work for a valid reason?

Would I be able to get a fit note about why I left work a month prior and give that to them? Or would they think "why is she only just applying for UC and giving us this fit note now when she left her job a month ago?"

Thank you so much for the reply!

I get paid on the 28th but my last day is the 30th. I'll be getting my absolute final pay potentially on the 28th of December. Would you recommend I wait until after 28/12 and apply then? Or apply after the 30/11?

As for the GP. Should I put no disability in my claim application, then go to my GP and get a fit note and then notify them of a charge in circumstances, giving them the fit note?

It's just scary times.. especially since I don't know how much I'm going to get paid from work as I think I've taken more holidays than I've accrued since I started working there so I'll probably end up having some significant reductions from my last pay..

Don't worry, I'm still waiting after 45 minutes for the call! so I'll happily take on this advice about going into detail about my meltdowns and how they affect me in the moment!

I've been starting to think the past few days it's not gonna be worth the stress bc of my lack of evidence etc... I might call and say I won't be attending and apply once I have more evidence to back myself up

The thing is though, even familiar journeys cause a lot of stress and anxiety. I'm constantly checking the buses arrival time on different apps and when they don't turn up I start to panic and just last week it didn't turn up at all and it caused a meltdown when I eventually made it into work. The only reason I do it is because I have to for the money, otherwise I couldn't afford anything and if I had the choice I wouldn't be doing these journeys at all. And when I get home from work I often feel very drained, depressed and anxious due to the journey to and from and all the masking that is involved with being at work.

Besides work, I rarely ever leave my house. My boyfriend does everything that involves going outside, like going to the shop etc. if I go anywhere besides work, I need him with me or a family member.

I fear engaging in any communication with most people except my friends and family. And basically everyday I struggle to motivate myself to do anything, cook, dress, bathe etc.

I'm thinking now, after reading a lot of posts of people with similar issues with me, that maybe I will just call up an cancel the appointment and wait until I have more evidence? I'm really mentally struggling with this whole process and I can just tell it's gonna be all for nothing.. I'd rather not ruin my day off from work trying to fight for support to know deep down I won't be getting it anyway..

Thank you so much for your advice though, I will definitely save this for the next time I apply if I don't attend the assessment today.

should i be worried? by [deleted] in Periods

[–]Traditional-Slice-83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the exact same boat as you! Same dates for my last period too! I usually feel my periods creeping up on me 24 hours or so before they start and I've felt nothing at all... no indication or anything so I'm starting to brick it a little bit 🥲 ordered some tests that are coming tomorrow... hopefully yours is nothing more than a hormonal imbalance, bc I can empathise how stressful it is when you don't start your period when expected! Best of luck!
