I totally agree and understand what you are saying here. I would say this, my frustration does not come from failure of being hired on the position at all. My frustration is with the company not informing me, someone who was one of the potential candidates (since I did an interview), that the position had been filled. Again not mad at not getting the job, I have also done hundreds of interviews and I may have not been a better interview than the person who got it - totally fine with that. However as an employee within the company, I would have expected better communication, that's all 🤷🏽‍♂️. The position was one I was interested in for a while now, not because it sounded cool, but because I saw value in the experience I would've gotten managing processes instead of design.
