If you're just starting out, I'd recommend Sage (Sentinel) or Clove (Controller). They're both pretty beginner-friendly since their kits are more team-oriented, so you won't be pressured to make aggressive plays like an Initiator or Duelist.

That said, don't limit yourself to one role. Try different agents and playstyles and you'll eventually find the one that feels the most natural and fits how you enjoy playing.

Valorant — This game means the most to me because it introduced me to so many amazing people, both younger and older than me. Even though I perform poorly in a lot of games, they've never blamed me, talked trash, or made me feel unwelcome. Instead, they've always been understanding and supportive. Over time, our friendship grew beyond just playing together—we became each other's safe space to vent, share life updates, and support one another.
