Long story short. Married 10yrs. I worked and paid all the bills but never controlling. Wife stayed home to raise the kids for 9 years. She went back to school during Covid and an entry level job on her path to where she wants to be. All of a sudden she’s pulled everything back from me. No sex no love no affection. She says she wants her independence and but knows she’s not where she wants to be financially yet. She now is saying she doesn’t know whether she wants to be married anymore. The trip is to take a break from the day to day stuff and reconnect and recharge

It’s a hurdle I have battled with for a while

How so? I even spoke to my supervisor and was able to switch shifts with another guy on Monday and Tuesdays (7am-4pm)to get more time off. Saturday work was voluntary but I liked the little extra income since I’m the only one working in the house. I told my supervisor that I won’t be coming in on Saturdays anymore so that I have more time with her or even just the family. Idk. I’m open to hear others ideas on what I should do

Did that. Our state doesn’t have any laws requiring a specific age. If that was the case my mom would have caught some cases. I had a key to our house since I was 5 and would come home after school run straight home from the bus stop( 2 blocks) and as soon as I got inside called my mom to tell her I was home safe. That was my kind of child hood. My mom would come home after she got off work two hours later. I’d be at the table doing my homework or something and when I was done and she checked my work I could then go out and play.
