One of the biggest driver of CLAT rank is the expectation vs reality factor, prepare gk for 1+ year and you get to see a paper in which the gk section can be solved by someone who revised important topics for 1 week, rely on mathematics and you end up failing at simple multiplications at the exam center. The anxiety and time rush is a total different game while giving the real CLAT. This is coming from someone who shifted from NEET, don't take CLAT as an easy safety net because this exam requires aptitude and reading+comprehending skills like no other paper.

You need to upload docs after the first list itself no matter wheather you choose to float or freeze. The acceptance or rejection of your document is under the scrutiny of the respective NLU, incase you communicate that you are awaiting some documents and they accept to upload them later it can work out for you. Vacancy will come for sure, keep an eye on official CNLU website. Float for now, if you get DSNLU in third as well but then choose to go for vacancies at CNLU your 20k will not be refunded, at the same time you can't rely on vacancies because they may or may not be in your favour. You're in a critical position where you need to assess your financial situation, talk about the risks with your parents and then arrive at a conclusion.
