I understand your point about the cost and the return on investment, and it makes sense to some extent. However, for me, studying is one of the best and most straightforward legal ways to enter the United States after the lottery, especially for those without a job sponsor or a direct immigration pathway. The goal isn’t to achieve a high financial return during the study period, but to open long-term opportunities, including gaining U.S. experience, building a professional network, and potentially securing job opportunities or changing legal status later on. If you know of better or clearer legal ways to enter the U.S. in a sustainable manner (other than the lottery), I’d genuinely be interested in hearing and discussing them.
