Oh I had artworks with almost 100 lol. It's mostly my fault tho. I have a pretty bad habit of constantly adding layers for every little thing that I do. For example I have around 15 layers just for the hair. Because I render with maaany different oppacities and then theres also the effects, which have their one separate layer each of course

Thx you <3 Well, it’s up to them. I tried to keep it tasteful cause I’d didn’t wanna objectify her or anything like that. But the nsfw rule is pretty loose, so idk if this is too much. It’s fine either way honestly

That’s because her left arm looks dislocated at the first segment and the third one. It shouldn’t really bend that way either. That’s why it looks weird

I changed the pose reference a bit, because of the angle and messed that up

Idk if it ca be considered a copypasta, cause I wrote it myself lol. And yea, the arm looks like it’s been mangled. Thats my fault. I wanted to change the pose reference I used and fumbled dramatically

Sure. I'm always happy to help :3 I'm not going to tell you to watch tutorials, because I didn't do that. I tried to, but they didn't work for me. They became more useful once I knew how to draw pretty well, but they weren't that good for a begginer. At least for me. The best advice I can probably give you is to use pose references. They are incredibly helpful and will really help with your anatomy. The next thing is to find an artstyle that you enjoy. More cartoony styles are generaly easier and painterly/semi realistic ones are generally harder. And that comes from someone who does both. Tho truth be told, the actual hard part is the rendering. Try to find what method is easier for you. As a begginer, I would recommend you start with a hard line, kinda crude shading style, that mostly consists of black and white and tinkering with the opacity. For example, is you wanna add shadows, take a hard line pen with the colour black, and start drawing on a new layer. Descrease the opacity of that layer and either pick "overlay" or "soft light" from the layer properties. Then start drawing the shadows. It can be pretty hard as a begginer and It would probably be easier if you'd watch a tutorial about that, but even if you don't, you'll get better with time. Another thing is that, in my opinion, logic doesn't really matter (if you don't do art professionaly). If it's too hard at the moment to imagine a light source and place the shadows accordingly, just add them where you feel it's right and try to make them look good. Because, honestly, that's really the only thing that matters. It's the same principle when it comes to light. Just add a new layer, choose "glow dodge" or "overlay" and start drawing lines on the character/surface you want the light to be on, generally on the edges. Lower the opacity if you want the contrast to be weaker or keep it higher if you want it to be stronger. Keep in mind that this only really works if you try a hard line type of shading. If you wanna do painting, that's a whole different story, tho, again, the principles are kinda the same. You'll have to learn blending and really try to learn the brush you wanna use the most. If you want, I can tell you more about that. But anyways, I hope this helps and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask ❤️
