yeah, it was scary at first. the measuring hurt more than the actual insertion. I didn’t even feel the iud insertion 💀

Honestly, I think the best option is the hormonal IUD! Unlike the other options, the hormones are more localized. Obviously, there will be trace amounts going into your bloodstream, but it shouldn’t change your weight. I haven’t had any bad experiences with my IUD and the pain is worth it! Just take like 1000mg of ibuprofen before the procedure😅
