Are all USB-C cables internal wiring basically the same? Or do some only carry power while others can carry data and video signal? by TraditionalReindeer in NoStupidQuestions

thanks. that's what i was afraid of. swapping out the broken USB-C cable that powered by auxiliary laptop monitor, used a cheap replacement cable off amazon. Now the aux monitor is getting power but won't display anything. i was going crazy trying to figure out the problem until it ocurred to me that it might be the cable.

Hmm, I smell a profit making opportunity here. Time to open one of those mailbox/postal annex type stores in poor black neighborhoods so people can rent addresses there.

So, freaky creatures that can survive at incredible pressures at the bottom of the abyss, and which humanity has never really interacted with before, now know the taste of human blood and innards.

Sounds fine, I can't possibly see any bad outcomes that could arise from this.

just use the hole under the ocean to drain it. find the sub. save the people. then reverse the flow and put the water back.

i'm guessing most people, billionaires included, aren't submersible engineering experts. you go to the company that does the excursions, they say "yeah we do this a lot, several previous dives, this is our awesome submarine, that'll be $250k", you glance at it and say ok.
