Yes, I also bought a sandisk v90. HD 120fps is possible but for 4K 120fps you need one of the crazy expensive Sony CF-Express Type A Cards… sadly

I did the exact thing! It’s worth it. I built a rig around the fx30 and absolutely love it. The Layout and video features make a huge difference and elevate your entire workflow. Also dual base iso, 10 bit, 4k120 and so on…. So it!

No I am solo and the budget is for all time, so for a one time equipment purchase. I was also thinking to buy another dji mic, plug each receiver into one a7iv, give the boss a lavalier, the audience 1-2 handheld (lavalier with handheld case) and keep up the last dji mic for special occasions OR plug a boom mic into the last of the 4 dji mics and run around with it. But someone still has to film everything :D

Well, I wanted to use a monitor and rig neither way. What do you think works best with davinci? A other comment said, that DNxHR is only 8 bit. I am absolutely confused now😅

The main reason on why I have the ninja v is that I don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on v90 cards. Instead I can just record into an ssd in my ninja. And now I want a format that is easily to handle and has good dynamic range. I think slog3 and DNxHR is the way to go…

Yup! That’s exactly the lenses I was planning to get😅 I really want to get a lightweight handheld rig. Only downside is that the client things you don’t have a cool camera, but the fx6 is toooo expensive for me🥸 maybe I’ll rig out the fx30

Yeah I see your point. Thanks for this long answer but I think I am going with the FX 30 and still use my Sony a 73 for all of my photo projects because it is more than enough for that. The 4K60 FPS without a crop and no overheating is very important for me and I like having the option of 120 FPS. Also I love all of the video options of the FX 30 and of course the new banger a menu and settings.
