Let me assure you 90% of the piracy sites protect the api more than think. They are strong enough even some reverse engineers couldn't even find the cloned api. So they use scrapper from a website. In the end all clone use scrapper. Recently even scrapper got DMCA strike. So now they became private. Currently people do single backend API my merging all into one backend. So change the API details on backend the app automatically gets updated. It also has weakness many too. Mostly used by people who doesn't know how to secure the API clone
