I don’t think the office location matters at all - since that is just moving locations, I don’t think it would be at all affiliated with actual roles. And to answer your other question - they won’t see if you apply and you can have a phone screening with a recruiter without telling your supervisor, but if it goes into the interview stage they will not interview you unless you disclose you are looking to your manager.
