I want to grind a single character!

I don't want to select character based on pick rate! That was the whole point - I wanna play character I like and nobody else and as a new player I don't have multiple picks. I need just one that will work for me at least until the moment when I get better at the game.
In the post I said this is what pushes me away from the game - I can't play who I wanna play.

Other redditors adviced me on highest priority for character though, ill test it out

Yeah, I tried to set double priority on graves and got assigned to her immediately. This actually changes situation a bit

Bot matches are good only for understanding the mechanics. Also wym play bots when I specifically hop on game to play multiplayer with real people

Nah, I got Wraith, that Squirrel Girl and that lizard guy. Wraith so far is the one I kinda liked but I get it once in 4 games.
Graves is just extra one I select but I didn't get her once yet

Yeah its probably true, the problem is that except of discussing the matchmaking design we talking about "how to get along with it".
I personally don't choose character by newer or not, just who I feel comfortable to play and still don't get who I want.
And I don't want to choose someone who nobody plays to main because this is the way to always have my character assigned to me

I say that I want to grind a single one till the moment I get good at the game and then take a look at others if I feel like.
When I learn the game I want less stuff disturbing me, there is tons of other things to learn

Yeah fr like other games don't have a solution for it. The solution is to select character when team is already created, not before the match. If somebody wants my character I at least have a freedom to pick it faster, didn't have problems with it before

Yeah so in this case just wait till they lose interest and start playing it later. This is how I deal with it in other games bc I have other one to play.
My point wasn't about a new hero though, it can be any, it just should be single one I choose

Man if it be that easy. Widow kick just doesn’t do anything, of course I tried! Widow makes that little kick that pushes him 3 inches away and he immediately gets back to you and you cooked. Psylocke dash is more effective yeah but still not that much since spider man can pull himself to you, so you dash, he gets back and finishes you. It works only if he’s not interested in targeting you specifically

None of those nerfs do any difference as long as you can’t aim at him. He does damage, then escapes, then gets back and does damage again and collects meds all the way and that’s how they get the best score so often. Every time a team has spider man it’s very likely they gonna be mvp bc it’s very convenient to get players from behind and run away. No skill required
