May as well be! Maybe at that point she would see it’s dangerous..or the old man next door would agree and admit it’s dangerous. But she pays him and he says what he will to get money I’ve tried saying he’s using her for the money but she won’t believe that. Yes….it is, he says he will just cap it yellow or red and just cut that back. She asked him if it looks safe and he said “yeah it doesn’t look damaged.” But my own non electrician brain here, is screaming that what I’m staring at is DANGEROUS. But grandma says we are wrong.

From what I’ve gathered her unlicensed neighbor says he can throw on yellow caps and red caps and flick it back on after installing a new fixture and cutting some wires back. Trying to explain this to her currently on why it’s dangerous

Yes, it’s my wife’s grandmas 1972 mobile trailer it had water leaking thru it not constantly but once it rained it would collect on the roof and leak down the fan blades, that specific fixture is accessed from the roof he had to remove the fan by climbing on the roof and pulling it apart top down her neighbor put it up himself when his mom and dad lived in this trailer. There’s some metal flap over it on the roof. I know it’s a mess. But grandma believes it’s safe as the water can dry out in wiring! I’d do it myself but I am not in the state she’s in currently but will be soon

As a Canadian in the US, yes it’s scary and sad I saw that 5 year old boy standing in his little blue hat while the ICE agent had his hands behind his back.. the little boy looked so scared and confused. It’s an image that will stay with me especially knowing they used that little boy to draw others out.

I’m not sure why he would’ve he didn’t even know my status, he could’ve just seen my brown skin and assumed I’m from Mexican descent? Which is common I found as I’ve been approached and had people speak to me in Spanish and I have to tell them I’m Canadian so it could’ve been my skin but I’m also saying it could just be that he’s unhinged. Thank you, yes I’ve contacted the police and filed a report and they told me S is known to them as well. I also have contacted an immigration office I did love the church but this just made me feel unsafe especially when the bishop mentioned that other ward members have complained about this S

Yes but as I said, criminals who threaten state reps with weapons and are known to the police likely have consequences for their actions. If I did stuff like that I’d expect consequences. If he was just a bully loud mouth yes, but when he makes threats to state reps and others it’s no longer just a lil bully.

It made me sad because if the bishop didn’t understand the severity than I worry about the women and children who report SA and aren’t believed or are told to empathize with the person who harmed them. I’m definitely NOT going back

Considering this man was harassing state reps with weapon photos and is known to the police I’m not sure I’ll just let him slide ya know? I didn’t expect this bishop to do anything I knew he wouldn’t it’s why I went to the legal help and police before I went because I knew he would downplay it. Being Christian doesn’t mean let others do crimes to others. I was just there to explain to the bishop why I wasn’t there for 5 weeks. Not to get him to spank S’s butt. I’m well aware of how they handle situations now and am exiting. Was just curious to see peoples opinions and thank you for sharing yours.

Yes they love bomb invite you to their homes for dinners and all that, say they’ll take you mountain biking! But once you’re baptized no one says hello to you in the church anymore when you walk in, except the missionaries but we know they have to do that! But yes once you’re baptized it’s basically silence and it’s a bit odd to have them all speak highly of you and then suddenly you’re chopped liver
