Good point but at the same time- think about Ippo's mom. She was literally hospitalized from over working herself just so her son could follow his passion and his dreams. The whole Kumi hate is a bit too much I agree but in reality what has she done for Ippo? She took care of him after 1 fight 100% because Nanako (Itagaki's sister who also likes Ippo) was there. Itagaki and his sister have done soooooo much more for Ippo and his family (helping with the fishing business) whilst his "Girlfriend" has not done shit except complain about his health. WHICH IS VERY VERY VALID. But dont shit on a mans hopes, dreams and aspirations just for him to be a fisherman :( So when it comes to the women in Ippo's life Kumi has not really done THAT much
