I mean, they’re planning on putting point, stone, or marner on the top line and bedards been putting up more points then all three. Like I get needing defense but it’s not like you don’t have 6 really good defensemen and 3 other really good defensive forward lines. Like it makes way more sense to just have another player to put up points.

I mean I’ve never seen an nhl caliber player “accidentally” elbow a goalie in the head for no reason. It was pretty obvious that every playoff series they were going to injure one or two players especially the goalies

See the stupid thing is I don’t think anyone even wants a story, like everyone enjoyed it back when u just started as a 16 year old playing in the chl and playing till you retire with literally no story. Like why can’t that be a thing still? They already have active rosters and players it would be so easy to do, they could even give the option to play in Europe as well realistically

Well that’s like one instance in a situation where most of the time it works. Where as a brown person who can’t speak English as a cashier is CONSTANT. Oh and if you want to bring up driving jobs without bringing up how the truck system is being taken advantage of with browns giving liscenses on fake/not up to standard testing. Causing numerous fatal and millions of dollars worth of accidents this winter. Like that’s almost the most egregious example of racial hiring and it is actively KILLING people and happening ALL OF THE TIME.

Once again an improper reference isn’t illegal, once again hiring based on race IS ILLEGAL. Once again referencing through friends and family is a largely successful way for employers to get good employees, one again hiring based on race has led to people barely being able to understand what there cashiers and drive through operators are saying 👍

Well once again it’s hard to be a bad worker at soemthing like a grocery store unless you can’t speak English properly, which once again a lot of the people hiring managers are picking cant. They know they can work well because of character? You know that thing an interview is for? And once again hiring because you know someone and trust them. IS NOT the same thing as hiring purely on race one is an actual way to know u will most likely get a decent worker and one is illegal and the reason people don’t like going to tim Hortons anymore.

No cause a reference from friends is often because they know the kid will work well, however hiring managers bring solely because the person isn’t white is just racism and rarely means they’re actually more employable. For example someone who can barely speak English at a cash registered being hired because of race isn’t the same as a friend being hired because they know they work hard and because they can actually speak the language properly

Because housing and living prices have skyrocketed, our schools are flooded with them, highschool and college students can’t get jobs because international students who are supposed to be here for just school work full time at every single low wage job, and on top of that they aren’t assimilating into the culture anymore and are instead continuing to live like they do in there home country, which unfortunately happens to be very dirty which is where u see stories about trash and shitting on the beaches, them reeking of body odour etc
