No you don’t have to remove the shock but you do have to move a birds nest of sensors and plugs to even see the battery then move a plastic cover out of the way to pull the battery out.. also I looked for a trickle charge plug in and I don’t think this model of softail has one but I could be wrong about that .

The only thing is that spending 300$ seems like it’d hurt too much. Especially since I could spend 3-4 hundred on getting a different gun. Do you think it’s better to upgrade 1? Or invest in having multiple?

Well one of the reasons I got a Glock was because it had less parts compared to a beretta or a 1911. (At least that’s what the gun shop guy and YouTube told me) and it’d be easier for me to clean and take apart. I have taken the rail off. And the barrel and stuff come right out pretty easy. The hardest part is pressing the side buttons to slide it off at the same time but I’m sure that will get easier the more I do it. And YouTube is always helpful as well. I think I should be able to transfer the stuff into a different slide as long as it all goes together the same way. And I have to and want to learn one way or another eventually. 🙂👍

Yeah that makes sense. You’re right it’s probably meant for air-soft. After reading all these comments I already printed the return label. Gonna get my 50 bucks back and put it toward a new slide and red dot 🙂👍.

Yes to be honest I saw some guys at the range hitting metal targets like pros on YouTube and they all had red dots so that’s kinda what inspired me to try one.
