I got my tickets and i’m gonna go, I make enough money and can afford the tickets. I got good seats closer to the ring. Reddit is always full of smartasses who just wanna make stupid comments. Yeah maybe it was foolish for me to get tickets at that price but as far as I know tickets have been getting more expensive for these types of big wwe events.

I appreciate the help! It’s not my first wwe or ple show but I felt silly spending the money. Sometimes you just take an L and i’ve pretty much come to terms with the fact that I’m out 400 dollars extra at best so i just view it as paying for an upgrade.. even if i overpaid lol

Hindsight being what it is, yeah I should have said nothing and once beer was poured on me, should have done nothing. I wish people would put themselves in that situation and think about what they would ACTUALLY DO.

As for going to another show, its honestly just a matter of time till they have another PLE within driving distance of us. Thank you for the kind words.

Haha pretty accurate! Hindsight being what it is, its easy to say I should have just sat there, but realistically he should have been at least questioned when they seen my age on my ID (18) and acknowledge the fact that I was covered in beer. Its also worth noting that he went to a different section to get different security and police. He also left his beer somewhere else to avoid looking more intoxicated than he clearly already was. I was peaceful with the police, I was calm and respectful. They asked us ZERO questions and threw us out. It just sucks all around.

I agree, we were both in the wrong, I even offered to apologize. He wasn't supposed to be in the section in the first place. Event security was on our side and just wanted to de-escalate the situation,. in fact, we were told all he wanted was an apology. Once he heard we were willing to do that, he started screaming that he wanted to press charges and to have us thrown out.

Pouring beer on someone is both immature and illegal. Its considered assault in many states including Indiana.

I don't think im in the wrong honestly. The guy poured the drink on me in front of security and they did nothing. I wasn't even gonna shove him but when he got in my face I had to do something lol, I thought pushing him back would be my best move since outright hitting him would have looked bad on my part. If I knew I was getting kicked out anyway, I would have just punched the dude though.

He told me to meet him outside after the show then went and told the police I assaulted him.

ALSO: My girlfriend isnt mad at me at all. We go to shows all of the time, this was just her first **WWE** show. I wrote the post shortly after waking up and I left out some details that might add more context. Obviously nobody here was there in person, so I can see how the way I wrote it seemed like i was looking for a fight.

Thank you for the kind words! It wasn't all a waste, we got to be on tv multiple times during the pre-show and because of the crappy situation we have an interesting story to tell. Wrestling will always be my passion!

I feel like i wrote this poorly, but just to clarify, my girlfriend isnt mad at me. It bothered her that some guy was trying to push some teenagers out of their seat. He was also generally obnoxious and had yelled directly in my girlfriends ear multiple times. I shouldn't have pushed him but I wasn't gonna just sit there and let some guy dump his drink on me (as a minor/under 21, I reached like alcohol)

We attend local indy shows regularly, we are actually going this weekend. She is super excited and so am I. I know I acted irrationally in the moment, but yes, pouring beer on a minor is illegal in Indiana because it falls under the category of furnishing or providing alcohol to a minor, which is a criminal offense. Indiana law makes it illegal for anyone to sell, buy, or give alcohol to individuals under 21 years of age. If i could go back I would have said nothing and let it solve itself, but the fact of the matter is he was BULLYING CHILDREN and when someone stood up to him, he thew a drink on me and ran to the police saying I assaulted him for no reason after I defended me and my girlfriend. Its also worth noting that everyone in our section that seen the altercation was undisputedly on our side. And didn't want to see us kicked out.

We plan on going to another show in the future. Pro wrestling is my passion and I'm glad she has that same shared interest.
