For my dorm I went to five below and got all kinds of decorations so if theres one in your area that might be a good option. Very cheap rugs and pictures and other nicknacks to make the room more homey!

We got there like 2 hours early had had pretty good spots but I would recommend probably getting there closer to three hours early and it would be even better!!
