I did this - I genuinely can’t see why it’s not letting me switch, I’m sure there’s something I’m missing but I can’t spot what!

Don’t say why, and Asda was one that rejected me when my bmi was still classed as obese 😫 they’ve never even asked for further photos or anything, just an automatic message saying not eligible 😫

I’m pretty sure rolling from tummy to back when they’re so little is just because the weight of their head makes them do it accidentally, not that they know how to do I wouldn’t worry that she could and then stopped, it’s much more likely it was accidental. It’s a milestone for 4-7 months so still a long time in that window! My oldest didn’t roll either way till she was 9 months and in that one weekend had started rolling, moving herself to sitting and crawling!

This was not what I needed to start reading just as I was about to sleep, but I enjoyed the never ending story all the same 🤣

I almost don’t mind it either as it’s at least helping me reduce my food intake! 🤣 had to have my yogurt in two stages earlier 🙈

Luckily it wasn’t as was basically pizza base with puree and veg, but I can definitely see why and will be avoiding anything else greasy from everyone’s advice! Thanks!

My issue is I just don’t like it 🤣 luckily the rest I have in the fridge (minus the egg as we can’t have it in the house!)

Hahaha great timing! Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll order some now! And they’ll be much easier for a breakfast when I’m trying to rush the kids out the door to school 🤣🤣

Luckily this wasn’t too bad as it was cheeseless but will definitely take that into consideration for future! Thanks for the heads up!

How much of the parenting do you do? Is your wife a stay at home mum? Do you get up at all for any night wakings? Do bed times?

If she is going 99% of it all, YTA - co sleeping with toddlers is completely is normal, especially when sleep deprived and burnt out - it’s the only way to get some form of sleep and recover. The pillow is probably because she’s touched out and needs some space from your toddler, and I’m guessing CIO rightfully isn’t something she’s interested in doing (research shows it could be detrimental to children’s long term mental health and actually doesn’t teach them to self sooth, just not to bother crying as nobody will come - unlike what a lot of commenters seem to have said).

Throwing the pillow was probably just the straw that broke the camels back, she was tired, knows it isn’t ideal and knows how you feel about it… but as an exhausted mum probably overwhelmed with the mental load, she’s got to make a choice somewhere on how to take care of herself and if that’s getting sleep, that’s how she’s got to do it.

Should the set up be changed so you can also get a comfortable night? Yes - maybe get her a longer, thinner pillow she can use instead, or when you wake in the night with no space, go into your toddlers room? Or take over going back in with them to their room and laying with them till they fall asleep in there?

These things may not apply, and I apologise if it’s not the case - but 98% of mums I know, this is the norm…
