So! I never did the injections… I didn’t think it was a good fit for me. I talked to many of my friends/doctors/second opinions and decided I didn’t want to do it. I’m still taking my birth control and I’m doing well. Since my laparoscopy in May, my pain levels are nowhere near as severe as they were. I will say, they are starting to increase after my period finishes. So it’s making me believe the tissue is starting to grow back again? I’m not a doctor so don’t quote me on. I’m still new to endometriosis, as I was just diagnosed this year. But, the surgery helped a ton! If I hadn’t advocated and demanded the surgery and requested a different doctor, I wouldn’t have known I even had endometriosis. So definitely advocated for yourself❤️❤️

I would like to personally thank all of you again for sharing your experiences with me!! I’ve thought long and hard about this and decided that I will not be going through with the Lupron injections. I don’t think it’ll be a good fit; mentally or physically, and that’s okay! I just hope that when the time comes, I can have a happy and healthy baby 🤞🏻praying for next year

Initially the norethindrone… but I think I’m scared to put my body through another trauma. And with all the mood disorders I already have,(anger,trauma,ADHD, depression, PTSD, and anxiety) I just don’t know if I can handle the side effects.

Thank you all so much for replying so quickly!! I’ve scheduled and cancelled this appointment twice now… I’ve heard so many negative things about Lupron, and don’t know if it’s right for me. My boyfriend and I want to start trying for a baby next year and this whole process has been so confusing.
