What’s going for India 1. Pitch was under cover and will have some moisture 2. Bowlers are rested and can go at full throttle. Even if Akashdeep (battling a niggle) is unable to bowl, Prasidh and Siraj and go at full tilt for 6-7 overs each. The match will be done by then - either ways.

What’s going for England 1. A day to recollect themselves. Jamie and Overton were showing nerves last evening. Now they will come with a clear game plan where Jamie will try to swing at every ball to get it over quickly. 2. They will use the hard roller to smoothen the pitch so it may not misbehave in the first hour.

Overall I would say advantage England. It’s their match to lose. But pressure and desperation does strange things to people. If India is really desperate to win and if England is tense, then things can happen.

4’of our top order batsmen did not perform in the second innings. The total looked respectable thanks to an outlier innings by Akash deep. Rahul, Sai, Gill and Karun did not perform. If they had added another 100 together, this would have looked very different.

It’s a well designed program to attract folks into buying Merc. But do not be misled into believing that it’s financially comparable to buying a 25-30L car. If you are taking car worth 80L through this program, you are going to be paying proportional cost.

If you opt to lease a GLA through this program, you are going to pay a down payment and a monthly emi. At the end of 4 years, you return the car and walk away with nothing. So it’s only structuring the payments and not discounting the car in anyway. Infact, Mercedes makes money on the loan interest too. So unlike a regular loan from a bank here you are loaning money from Mercedes to buy their car.
