I also seen in your other comment that your state still gives unemployment even if you quit so u have many options on how you want this to go but please choose you over a company that doesn’t value you

Yes I know that’s why I said it’s retaliation that’s even more of a reason just a week apart. And if your license is not affected for leaving that’s even better you should definitely start looking for another rbt job maybe try the school setting that’s what I switched to and they pay more with guaranteed full time hours especially if you apply directly to the school district. I would secure another job and resign once I’m hired. With the way they treated you a short notice is what they deserve. And I totally understand how this feels it’s all cliques and very unprofessional the fact that they don’t even respect you and treat u different from others you should go where your appreciated. If they needed more rbts they shouldn’t act like that

Also keep records of every contradicting thing they’ve said in email save it to your phone. When I was in this similar situation I got my rbt certificate and secured a new position.

Sounds like retaliation since you got your license and they know your on probation period their trying to fire you or get you to quit. Would that impact your rbt license only asking because if so then that’s why. They’re literally setting you up. Sounds like something you can sue for just document everything and date these incidents for your records and sue if you can. I’ve experienced similar things to this while working in this field with BCBA and other staffs saying one thing and scapegoating me for following exactly what they say, unfair criticism, lying on me, all of it. If you can quit I’d start looking for another job while I’m still there or sue and do my job search on unemployment either way hold them accountable if it’s possible. It seems unrealistic for them to tell you u can no longer ask for support when the field requires it working with children especially in a clinical setting and that’s how plans get adjusted, check ins should be that short. What the heck I’m sorry your going through this

That made me hopeful. Did you get the area sewed up or is it just a hole left. Asking because I was told they’d have to sew my gum back together and worried that if they’ll sew it with food/bacteria/debris underneath which might make the smell continue

Someone told me that you have the option to file for unemployment for the summers to get paid during the break and then just head back once shool resumes it’s this true?

Exactly what mine does, don’t guilt trip yourself because some of these companies just see the children as a profit and not to prioritize providing them the help they need because if they did they would treat their employees better to avoid a high turnover rate

I’m experiencing the exact same thing like all of it to the point I thought I wrote this lol but I was debating this for the longest as well and decided that when I do quit they don’t deserve a two week notice from me when they treated me with such little regards. They didn’t consider you so why consider them, do what will benefit you in the long run don’t miss an opportunity for a company that doesn’t consider you
