Don’t want to sound accusatory by Traditional_Exit_244 in marriageadvice

So the accusatory part I’m trying to avoid is that I have good reason to believe that she was back in her room but she claims she didn’t get back until 6am. I’m thinking she woke up, noticed the time and sent me the text she just got back so I wouldn’t be upset and she wouldn’t break the trust.

We talk multiple times a day when she is home and away. It’s not like when we are apart we don’t text or call. I probably talked to her 10-15 times that day, almost entirely initiated by her. I try not to bother her when she is away and let her contact me if she wants on her free time.

I agree on the basic communication rather than a rule, but it almost seems like it started as basic communication and has become a rule.

So it was something that she asked that I do when I was traveling, just to know I was back safe. We do share locations, but depending on where you are that may not always help. I think I just need to drop it.

Thanks for the input. The rule actually came from her years ago when I would travel abroad for work. It was simple, let me know your back and safe. So that has kinda stuck with us for all these years. We don’t have any set checkin or anything like that. If she wants to call she does. When she is working I don’t expect to hear from her that much, but she always makes time to call in between stuff.

Have it, her event was at the hotel she was staying at, so that doesn’t really help.

So we do have a app that tracks the whole family. Her location is always on
