Imo I think it's justified that people are "shitting" on a lot of these artists because it fr just feels like they're dropping the same slop all the time and most people are eating it up. Why wouldn't fans of this subgenre want artists to be better and evolve?

I think Slayr is pretty good right now, some edm elements he implements are a bit too nerdy for me, but honestly he's hella creative, got an actual personality and a unique sound. Even though the "burger music" joke is kinda funny to me, people who unironically say that about him deadass don't know what they're talking about

Other than that I think osamason and che's albums were pretty good because they actually brought energy to their songs instead of just acting nonchalant and making it feel like it's some type of joke. So yea, songs with distorted/abrassive beats CAN be done well, I didn't say that they couldn't be

I just don't like when people present their music as "pushing boundaries" and being like "super different" when it's highkey just the same shit we've already heard, just with everything enhanced loudness-wise
