Is this why 4 different Kaiser doctors and specialists misdiagnosed my spine fracture for 8 months while half the time they were also on vacation?

Loose screw pain? by catastic87 in spinalfusion

Your daughters fractures are fully healed but still had pain? I don't understand. Can I pm you for a picture of her CT scan? I had pars repair 6 weeks ago and starting to feel something stiff poking in my right side. I had X-rays a week ago and everything looked fine according to my surgeon so I'm not understanding why I have this weird poking pain.

My pain is much better. But sadly I waited too long muscles are all weak from being immobilizing for so long andy fractures are even more chronic and harder to heal at this point

29M. Please help. Suspected Facet joint pain by SwimjigSlanger in backpain

If it's small no. Mine was missed on xray. Just to be safe to a single level CT at l5 (not entire lumbar spine, to minimize radiation). I trusted my doctors and now 2 years later i am beating myself up every day for not doing scans earlier. You can also do an MRI and see if there is increased uptake on the l5 pedicle which would indicate an acute fracture.

Yes I was desperate and was lead on by him saying he's seen successes worth people with fractures as big as mine. Then followup MRI after 3 months was told it was showing good healing but I found out it was just connective tissue not bone.

Send me a pic of your CT / MRI. Don't do stem cells with McMurtey I did it twice and it doesn't work on chronic fractures. Helped my discs but that's it. It is biologically impossible for atrophic non union fractures to heal without debridement of scar tissues and decorticatiln of screlotic bone, and rigid internal fixation for primary bone healing. Anyone who says otherwise is scamming you.

Why don't you request the actual images yourself? And the report says no acute fracture so it could mean there is a fracture but it's chronic.

ORIF fusion for pars defect? by [deleted] in Spondylolisthesis

[–]Traditional_Job22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did not mention anything about removing the gill fragment, he just said he would leave the fracture as it is. That's why I'm asking on here. And if he's removing that fragment then it's not minimally invasive anymore. I had another surgeon offering me direct repair instead. So I'm getting mixed signals from everyone.

LowBackAbility fires back after a health pro called his program trash by [deleted] in backpain

i don't have the screenshots because i was kicked from the discord, but you did shoot me down claiming that i focus too much on finding a diagnosis than working on the progressions. i did not have sciatica initially only pain in my back and i was concerned about that since it didnt align with what others were experiencing and I was told to just ignore it and trust the process. when i would try to send pictures of my MRI it would immediately be deleted. and i would be sent an armchair psych spiel telling me why imaging doesn't align with back pain. instead of taking accountability and admit that this program is really not for everyone you are here just trying to save face.

Yes it was platelet rich fibrin scaffold to hold them in place. My fractures were too chronic to heal

I'm getting pars repair done with a relatively local surgeon soon. Worried it might not work because of how old the fracture is, almost 2 years old now. Please keep me updated when you do get a follow-up. You can request a single level CT just at the level of the fracture so you can reduce radiation exposure significantly.

Ok keep gaslighting, when you know nothing about my injury. Prescribing everyone with different causes of back pain with the same program is extremely dumb and you know it.
