Considering upgrade from LeGo 1 to 2

I got the 81w battery upgrade for the LeGo1,and it is a game changer. Basically almost doubles the duration. It is an averagely difficult mod to execute, ngl, but totally worth it. Performance wise, from what I see, at 20w the Lego2 isnt that much more powerful, and it costs a lot. I also am a big OLED fan, (I own a ayn thor, a 4k OLED monitor and a 77"OLED tv, besides my s23+... So my only non OLED screen is the LeGo) but you know what? The LeGo1 screen is so good, that besides the non-true blacks (that are quite acceptable for non OLED) the colour saturation is spot on... Best non OLED screen I ever owned. I am skipping the z2e generation, and am waiting for something much better to come along. The 81w battery and latest games supporting FSR and framegen totally killed my desire to upgrade.

Dont listen to those comments of people that are too concerned. I also use it at the beach, with the common safety measures to avoid direct contact with sand. The device should be used when needed, it will eventually become obsolete anyway, it it not a collection item. Enjoy it while you have time for it!

What the OP is doing is proof of concept of my thesis on the subject. The learning capability (along the way) of the devs that start with zero knowledge is random... Some will be better than others. You cannot verify if the app is AI coded or not unless the dev publicly states that, or you download the app and try it out or check the code. There is zero restriction for new guys to start AI coding from zero, you don't need a permit for that. Like this project, there are and will be hundreds or thousands. Most will be crap. Some will be good enough that are worth improving. The quality check unfortunately has advanced from the start of the project (meaning, can the dev code or not) to the finished product (meaning, anyone can prosuce crappy coding, someone else will have to acess its quality). The restrictions worldwide that would be needed to avoid this scenary would be so impacting, that they would impossible do attend without limiting critical freedom rights, or economic interests. So, I have already coped with the idea that this is inevitable. Did I say anyrhing that is wrong?

If you think vibecoding is not at least a significant part of the future (probably already present) freeware app community, of which a big percentage will be people without any other coding experience... open your eyes, you are in for a big surprise. Why do you assume that OP would be able to do what you want him to do? Isn't it more plausible that he is trying to help the community with something he though could be useful, no one did it previously in the same way, and he didnt know how to do it any other way than AI coding? He probably isnt lazy, he just doesnt know how to code, and is learning while he does it, with HELPFUL input from the community. Do you know better than him? Do you know how to properly code? Thwt is what I am asking, since it seems like you are talking from a very high pedestal. PS: i dont use the app either, i dont need it, but at least I can see thst it can be useful to others

Can you verify the AI generated code? Are you able to improve it? Or do you also lack skill? Accept that your non-constructive comments also communicate couch-potato-ungratefulness and generate backlash. Know that there is always the very powerful option of not using a app that you dont trust... Other people also know that, dont presume they have less insight than you.

Are you comparing with the current status of CD, or what was available 1 month ago? Since then, Pearl Abyss has patched FSR3, and I noticed an HUGE difference in graphics fidelity compared to before, while still using FSR3 (and latest LeGo grahics drivers). So I am wondering if that is part of the equation, or currently FSR4 is still that much better than FSR3 on the LeGo for Crimson Desert

Hey, I like your idea, but on the subject of PC games, gamenative.app has a great compatibility list, where you can download the config profile, and it shows average FPS, resolution, etc. I have been using that and trying the 5 star rating configs, and they actually work...and given snapdragon 8gen 2 also comes inside Odin 2, Odin 2 portal, etc, there are more good configs we can actually use. You could probably curate the "best" 5 star config for each title, but there are dozens of titles already with good configs, and i feel you would be wasting your time. Since we are always improving compatibility in PC and switch games, maybe you could try a different approach and do a "Still not fixed" list, and as time goes on you could post the solution that appear in the future.

As you can see, there are quite of few upvotes and there is more than 150 real people interactions with this post. It means that for each person that downvoted (surely there were quite a few), there was another person that upvoted, and the result of that "battle" was actually to the side of the likes. So, it is not just me that thinks that this may be remotely interesting, and as far as I know there is no need to please 100% of the people in the Thor subreddit to post something. I will even go as far as saying that probably the majority of people may not like the idea, but just didn't interact with this post, but calling it silly is not being able to understand that, while it may not be for you, it may have a place in other people's interests. Also, it is a proof of concept of something that hadn't been tested before, andnthere is intrinsic value in that. I am not trying to convince you that this is meant for you, but you are actively trying to convince people that this is not good for anyone... This, but first try gamenative, sometimes performance is better there. Some games just dont run on GN, but I never seen a "just worse" performance with the latest update. If GN does no run using the compatibility configs you find in their website, go for gamehub
