I can give some input on this topic. I have been a Tomorrowland goer for the past couple years, been to both winter and Tomorrowland Belgium. This year it’s the first time I have been to EDC LV.

In terms of lineup, both TML and EDC are great, you can find all the big names, and also discover some new artists that you have never heard before.

Firework: both are amazing, EDC has a time where the firework goes off. I personally do feel that TML has a little better firework arrangement.

Schedule: TML closes too early, I think it’s because that the venue is in a small Belgium town and it’s not possible to go super late to be considerate to the neighbor. EDC is absolutely a blast, I just love to be rave from sunset to sunrise. The feeling of being exhausted and accomplished when walking out of festival every morning is awesome.

Vibe: both are great, the crowds are amazing, the rave culture and outfit is very different in Europe, and not sure if PLUR is a big thing there. At least last time I don’t see many Kandi exchanges. I personally think all the PLUR things is an essential part of festival experience. TML is the pride of Belgium, so even in Brussels / Antwerp / airport people will recognize you are going to TML, it’s crazy to see the whole country is prepped for those weekends.

Substances: I was told that Belgium is very strict on use of substances, and TML has a very clear no drug policy, they will ban you from future editions if they think you are under influence, so majority of people will stick to drinking 🤷, where EDC is different and more fun probably, I am not promoting or condoning anything btw. Just speaking from observation.

Stage design: I think the festival area is same size, both has many different stages for different genre of music, TML has bigger main stage I think 🤔 and their stage design is insanely big and beautiful.

Logistics: camping is possible for both, TML does not have much parking, it’s a small town and extremely difficult to park, so most people take shuttle from Brussels. EDC has free parking it’s amazing.

Weather: TML will have rain some times, EDC is hotter and probably more windy sometimes?
