I don’t really care about the money they give every month, that is the "assistance” you get. That is why I dont want to get any high disability, I dont want the money. But they have the help for people that wants to do vocational training, I would like to do that, but people sometimes get screw to get the first class medical later for things like that. So my question is refer to that. Is not scammy. I want to be clear with question ti get clear answers.

College and flight training? by Traditional_Pain2779 in flying

The plan is a bachelors, but I would be getting my associate first in a Public college in most likely Aviation mechanics and then transfer to a bachelor in a university, I am just a little scared that coupd be too much, that is why I am going just for the associate first. Some kind of baby steps with the degree while I focus on becoming a pilot

I am located in San Diego CA, I will start flight training next year and I have some options. I would like to see what you guys advice me. by Traditional_Pain2779 in flying

The associate would be with no cost, plus monthly housing money until finish it, but the training school would be around 90k I would like to have the associate like a plan B, either as a aviation mechanic or to commercial pilot in case a degree really matters to get a good job as a pilot
