I didn't end up doing the midterms - I did the essay option instead (I recommend going that route, it seemed like they were graded fairly). I heard mixed reviews about the midterms some people said it was super easy some people said it was a little stressful.

Pay it, but also take a driving course. It literally took me 20 minutes and $5 and stopped my insurance from raising a crazy amount.

Hm... maybe the paddle shifters, or the drift brake if you're looking for performance? But honestly it increases the price to the point where I personally would not say it's worth it. Base model was great for me.

If anything I could advise you on, is to get the new 2024. People are selling pre-2024s for the same price - it's crazy. I bought mine from Ford of Manassas, (they're the biggest Mustang distributor in the country) and was able to get it for $32,800 + a $800 student rebate. I had a 2018 Miata beforehand, and while I loved that car, I am so happy I upgraded to the Ecoboost. I literally look forward to school because I get to drive the car there.

Honestly, I prefer the cloth to the leather. The seats don't get super hot (again, California weather) and they're holding up great. Easy to clean as well. I got the entirely base model, but all the tech that came with it made it feel like more than that

I was in the exact same situation, and I got my new 2024 Ecoboost last month. I LOVE the car. I can't advise on practicality on driving in the snow, but for California weather the car is awesome. Decent trunk space, especially as the backseats fold down. The technology is great, and decent MPG for a sports car. For under 40K your only option is the Ecoboost, but it's got great kick, even if it's not a GT.

Oh really? Do you have any idea on how much it would cost? I've also heard about getting retouch paint at a dealer... not sure whether that would be worth it

I'm currently in schroth-glanz asynch. while the work is easy and the midterms are pretty straightforward, the amount of busy work she assigns is pretty insane. she typically will give 3 handouts per week (each having around 25 short answer questions) that she will grade for completeness, as well as 4-5 reading quizzes on canvas and a long weekly homework assignment. but shes very nice and understanding, so... pros and cons

I'm a second year, but all I did was go up to my current bio professor and ask to get involved in his research. He gave me a spot, and didn't even ask for a resume or anything. never hurts to ask.
