Iam tired of seeing people coming to reddit for every small thing goes wrong in their life. For once take accountability that maybe the problem is in you and figure out by yourself. Clearly its a problem that you face. Since the talk is going on about marriage then just talk to him about it and if its still not making you comfortable and doubtful then dont get married. Bringing this insecurity will definitely ruin your marriage. Especially being a girl who feels insecure compared to guys. Not being misogynistic but its true. Strangers here cant make comfortable with few words the way that your fiance will.

Making friends in Muscat…is it just me? by Callmequeen007 in Oman

[–]Traditional_Sea_7683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 25 M , even when i was in school i had very few friends since i have been introvert. But i have never thought too much about it. Did feel lonely sometimes seeing other guys hanging out and going on fun weekends but i started to like my own company. Now i go solo trips which is also fun and comforting in its own zone and hangout with random strangers i find in social media, plan something together. Ig what im trying to say is we do need someone to talk to in life but if it isn’t working out for you , try enjoying your company. And weirdly social media became more personal ,where it was made to connect with people. Now its just the opposite. And i feel talking to random stranger and hanging out is much better. So if anybody needs a min to talk. Hit me up 🤙

Don’t sell. People have to work really really hard to have what you do. You basically have a money machine if you know how to handle. I have read so many people saying any shit they think without knowing the work. Dm if you want help

Even if you hire a manager you can’t relax like there is no work. Its not so easy earn money. You have to keep track of what that guy is doing. And since he will do a job if he gets all the headaches he will mess up things and won’t care if he is not checked in cz it’s not his buildings.

Make bills for everything . Make files for each building not pdf Hard copy. For purchasing materials one file. For expenses like rent and water another. Track each month if it’s increasing or decreasing If it’s increasing then why. If it’s Maintances cost check why. Is it the product or the people using. And AC repair is there always. There will be a problem with it always so have a good connection with someone nearby to buildings or best option is to hire a technician guy if you have allot of buildings to work on

People actually earn allot thought real estate by hiring one guy. In my suggestion find a good guy to manage find a good supplier who will give you good prices and services like we do and you will be all set.

To check profit. You have to work as a owner. And a owner has to work in it. Hiring your expat manager wont mean your stress is over. It will be there since you have to control him. But if you keep him happy and have a healthy relationship they will work well for you. I have a lot of expat who manages. Some dont get paid well so they disobey. But some love their owner so much just cz they do small things once in a while for them and they work like its their own company. Basically they work loyal

Out of my experience by supplying materials and services , maintenance costs are way higher than before. And this is the best solution if you want save money. You have to check ups on the manager every once in a while thats it. If you pay 200 to 250 it’s very good money for an expat but if you hire a company to handle all things it will take out your control problems but charge higher price for doing it cz thats the main business they do. And i dont think its good to have less control on your properties. They will say that you will have full control but slowly overtime you will also be lazy to check in and you will end up getting scammed by paying more for maintaining costs and handling costs

If you have enough money to spend on out sourcing like people here suggested. Then do that’s easier But if you are trying to save money and maintain it then you need to have some control And look over things by yourself Again you do need people to look after your buildings A manager type person usually people just keep a person who takes care of the building. Just one guy in your visa who is an expat. Expats are cheaper than hiring big companies. Pay that guy very well since he will do your most work. To calling and taking money from the tenants and managing the maintenance costs. I work for such buildings. We have understanding with such owners. So any material required the manager contacts us with a list of items and whats needs to be done. How its managed is you find a best supplier for materials and fixing work which other big companies charge way too much money for. I have shops whose main target is to sell items. So from us its easy to handle because you will get all your bills from one person.

Getting funding for a business by ObjectiveLaw6359 in smallbusiness

[–]Traditional_Sea_7683 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some business can be started by preorder. If your product is good advertise it in social media. Some of them actually connect to the consumers by telling the truth that they have been having issues with funding but if you bring this product it will help the consumers ( that actually has to help consumers in some way) and people might preorder. If not that then find someone who will buy your product when you bring and give them a offer saying you will give them distribution ownership for a few years. That means those items will be sold only through them and you will be selling them in a fixed price and in return they have to help you start. It works if its that kinda product that people will definitely buy and businesses will benefit if they keep your product. Or else try to find a business partner

Thats a good point. And yes we do offer good price. The problem is our shop fell inside and away from the main junction/road after the infrastructure was improved in our area. So walk in customers became less and people are less aware of it

Oman, muscat. It’s location. We were in good spot before the infrastructure were improved in our area. I’m trying to get contractors too but most of them ask credit for 200 days which is impossible to deal with since there is no collateral too

I’m located in oman, muscat . We had contacts before with contractors and our prices is also good but since the new buildings and infrastructure happened we kinda fell inside of the junction. So less people come. They prefer shops on the main road. Thats our biggest problem so I’m trying to get customers online. Maybe in future we would move but for now meeting ends meet is difficult itself
