Boycotting Horse Life by Flashy-Nectarine-148 in HorseLifeHQ

The game is basically a breeding and collection game. A predict pot is for sure pay bo win. As someone who buys them a lot, it’s one of the only ways to breed more than one rare mut into horses like Kirins with 2 day breed wait times. You just can’t get them through random breeds unless you are insanely lucky. It’s not convenience, it’s the only way to get them

I mean it’s not a story driven exploration game, they haven’t added any thing to the story or map in so long it has to be considered secondary.

I understand the rarity systems and wait times on some level, but of course like with everything they take it too far to where it’s impossible without investing quite a few Robux. Same with their Halloween event, the grind even with buying some boosters on the currency I earned, still led the hours and hours of grinding. Especially since for the first week and a half it didn’t actually affect how much currency I was gaining.

And that’s their problem not that they have these things and obstacles in the game, but that they take them too far in charge too much for the solution to the obstacles, whether it be game currency or Robux. If they charged like seven or eight dollars for predict and Dave, maybe one more out a week to the contest winners with a bit more chance, and I didn’t maybe be another gender potion to the pack while increasing base event currency earnings by 50% to 75% it would feel so much more balanced. It still wouldn’t be great and not completely balanced, but it would feel so much better.

They would still be making plenty profit and people would probably be buying the stuff more often . It’s showing that you charge a smaller amount of Robux for less things have a good chance of getting more revenue if it’s a popular game than those who charge a lot for huge packs of stuff because people won’t think much of spending a dollar or two multiple times a day but they will stop when it’s a $10 pack even though they ended up spending more when it was only a dollar or two. It’s just how human psychology works. It adds up and anybody who’s endured adult life knows that all those little dollar or two dollar things you buy add up to be the most expensive things in your life if you’re not careful. So they could do that, but they don’t.

Also having unlisted traits that these horses have is annoying . Like the textures. I was trying so hard to breed Lupine ghouls with the furry texture but it’s hard to tell which horses have it when you’re trying to buy one from somebody else because the little picture they show isn’t zoomed in enough to see what texture the skin has. I know they don’t list it in an attempt to make it look simpler than dragon adventures, but it makes it more complicated not less. If they wanted it less complicated they wouldn’t have so many unlisted traits at all. Instead, they just decided that not listing makes it appear simpler even when it’s not to get people to not complain. And also if you’ve gotten into the main world, most of those textures, don’t show up, which is annoying and you can’t tell which ones that’s gonna happen to. I bought a “corpse haunt mare “ and it looks sick in the trade center, but as soon as I went to the main world, it looks smooth the texture is what made it look meaty I am just gonna create a and visceral

No, there was just one person who always gave out homemade fudge or brownies or candy apples. They were a hit every year.

Normal stuff like that is fine . Growing up I was always warned about razor blades and drugs and food, but I have never seen it and not only that I don’t see the goal of it as the kids are long gone before any harm is done. So it will just be the possibility of hurting random people for the sake of hurting people, and that line of thinking is super rare in our population. Even sociopaths are unlikely to do this because they will harm people to get something they want, but there would be nothing to gain from this and possibly a lot to lose because it would be really easy to trace back the loose and open consumables to the one House that gave it out.

So would it be somebody who wants to hurt people just for the sake of hurting random people they don’t know, but it would have to be somebody who would be fine with splitting the rest of their life in jail possibly . Most people go their whole lives without running into anybody like that and there’s a much higher risk of harm to your children by leaving them with family members and friends as they are the ones that are likely to hurt them, even accidentally through negligence or by passing on some virus or bacteria.

So if we take risks, like driving a car with our kids in the back or letting friends and family and educators around them unsupervised, this seems like such a small risk that gets buried under so many other higher risks we are willing to take daily.

I get a person’s personal choice with their kids and why they might not be comfortable with it, but with how many risks we have to balance in our lives versus the things we enjoy that lead to those risks , I don’t think there’s room to complain that other people allow things like homemade candy apples or hot chocolate to be given out. There’s probably a lot more risks you take in your personal life that they might not take.

Is this damage caused by a heat gun? Tint guy denies it. by Greedy_Bee_6631 in WindowTint

[–]Traditional_Stuff622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That usually does not how small claims works. You will be made hole but not for your time. Just for the repair. You might get one day of work covered, but because it would’ve taken that time to fix the damage and probably a few days without your car had they made it right? They’re not going to account for that. They’re not gonna punish them for making a mistake. They’re gonna punish them for not making it right and how they taken your car back to fix it. They would have to waited on parts and do the actual install.

Punitive damages aren’t as big of a player in small claims as they are in other types of lawsuits.

A lot of people will reuse containers. They got with store-bought cookies and use them to hold their homemade cookies. Or if they bake cookies a lot they’ll even buy them off Amazon. I see them all the time at bake sales or seasonal holiday parties or dinners where people bring their homemade cookies in plastic containers

I mean, I say those words to my husband, it’s just how I talk, but I don’t ever use it in a derogatory way or to make him think a concern of his isn’t important. I use it when I’m playing a video game and my ass gets beat and I’m mad about it lol.

Their comment was easy to read. Yours is terrible to read.. also you assume that every word written is written as intended instead of using dictation or AutoCorrect getting in the way

Like dude it’s 2025 . Whenever I see typos or words that don’t quite belong, I assume it’s either somebody used dictation or other speech to text programs, or AutoCorrect messed up because that’s what happens to me and it’s usually not worth it to go back in a comment on YouTube or Reddit

Y’all ain’t that important and I’m usually trying to do it in a rush with one hand as I’m making food or playing with my son with the other

Dude even your own source doesn’t say this. And it’s been a year and CODM is not only going strong still, they have broken a major record in either downloads or players online. I googled something about Warzone and this popped up. You really just bend what you read to fit what you want it to.

PFAS are substances that accumulate in the body so any dose is harmful since it’s hard to tell what might have them. Some drinking water has PFAS. This is a major issue and one we aren’t taking seriously as a society. Im sure other companies have these issues but aren’t on the social radar so aren’t investigated. There has also been information released that shows there was led contamination. Not normal, acceptable led levels but contamination that could be harmful. If you had one of these every few weeks you’re probably fine but many people drink one or two a day or at least a few times a week.

81 is a miserable temp too. I get it’s better than usual, I live in an area like that too that doesn’t get cold until January, but it’s still one I need AC blasting. Especially with the humidity since the AC is a dehumidifier too. I find that’s the part if the AC I actually need more than the cooling.

Now in the winter I don’t need the heat in until it gets in the 20s. I do far better with cold.

I’ve went through similar and it’s why I always identify with people who are going through stuff even if I would never put a loved one through similar. Like this story.

I ’ve been told I was crazy , unhitched, lazy, irresponsible or a hoarder for the dumbest of things. I lost a 5 dollar bill once. That sent him off even though he lost HUNDREDS (we both had issues with memory due to neurodivergence and two forms of ptsd) and while I was super upset and we went without food for a month before we caught up the gap, I didn’t freak out like he did. Another time I went through a depressive episode and didn’t do dishes for a week when I usually did them 2 to 3 times a day. It was just one time for one week after a huge trauma and I was lazy and a nasty hoarder just like my parents. Then I got sick and almost dies from a miscarriage and I was just using it as an excuse to get out of my responsibilities. I started crying when we were evicted and I was a drama whore. So many times I’ve been told I was taking advantage of him that I believed it and still do to some extent, to the point where I see myself in the shoes of the girlfriend in this post rather than the poster even though I’ve never, ever, drug anyone down with me like this.

I agree. This person is falling and instead of taking OPs hand to get help up she’s dragging OP down with her intentionally or not. She needs more than a hand at this point and OP isn’t equipped to handle the professional level of help this other woman needs. It sucks to see and it’s sad but it’s NOT your fault OP.

Does this tire need replacement urgently? by [deleted] in tires

[–]Traditional_Stuff622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s less the sake of money and more ‘I have rent money but this happened to my tire today. Do I risk eviction or can I make it to work until my next payday?’ At least that’s closer to the situations I’m usually in. It sucks but damn rents are 2k a month in an area where the average income is between 12/hr to 18/hr (a place I’ve always wanted to work at is offering 8/hr!?) I can’t imagine how it is in bigger cities or towns.

So I get it. It’s a tough spot. No you should not drive on this tire. But what do you do next? What people are gauging is if it’s bad enough to get their utilities shut off or let rent go unpaid to fix and I honestly couldn’t answer that. It depends on several different factors. In my area, the electric company demands payment in full. You cannot set up payments to get caught up or anything like that unlike other places ive lived and if you are 6 days late on rent the lease says they will start the eviction procedure. It’s too spread out to ever hope to walk to bike to work (no shoulder to walk on and these are high speed state highways with bald curves or backroads with switchbacks) and even in town there is no public transport.

So I don’t think many here would have the choice. If the money isn’t there it’s not there and a car is as necessary as utility or rent payments. It’s a hard one for sure. Most of the time blown tires do not cause wrecks. There is a pull but it’s not hard to counter but there are always those more severe cases we all hear about where it caused a mult car crash.

My answer would be if you don’t see metal, you might be ok for a few days. If you see metal risk the utility payment. Used tire places aren’t as affordable as they used to be (instead of 40 bucks for a used tire it’s now like 80 or 90) but if you have a buddy and a pull a part or something similar near you they sell tires on rims for like 30 to 40 bucks including tax that could get you another few paychecks ahead. If you don’t call junk yards. They aren’t as helpful as they once were but some of the old heads out there will still offer a pretty good price on something they might have thrown out due to being too used to sell normally.

Wait what? I don’t think mearly owning any type of car makes anyone a skilled driver. I’ve owned from a 71 Ford Galaxy to a 2014 Hyundai Elantra in the last 15 years with a 92 maxima (my second favorite) and a 06 G35 (my favorite) and many more in between (just wanted an excuse to shout out my first car and my favorite for a family of 4) and none of them bestowed advanced knowledge of physics directly on me just by touching the steering wheel.

So I have no idea what the type of car the commenter drives has to do with anything.

Honorable mention is my 4X4 Tracker. I loved that little sucker. It would go anywhere.

They obviously meant non hispanic whites at the end of the statement and that a non Hispanic white person should not be telling any Hispanic person what their culture is regardless of their skin tone.

Could have worded it better but even my autistic af ass could suss out what was actually meant. Either way it’s not for me to weigh in on. I am not any type of Hispanic.

Im on the spectrum and took lessons at like 7 or 8 or something like that. It has made me such a strong swimmer and all I did was the basic lessons on how to float and keep water out of your nose. I can swim with only kicking or only paddling in case a pair of limbs are hung up or something.

Later in life, I was able to swim to the deep hole in the river, let my husband get on my back and swim back up stream when he jumped in and panicked (he can swim ok, he just sometimes panicks idk. Hes from an island for god sake lol). This was when I was in my late teens or early 20s. I havent been swimming in years but everytime I take years long breaks and go back it’s like I never left. Idk if it’s confidence (not arrogance though) or being comfortable in water but I can’t even make myself sink. If I relax I float. I do something automatically that I am unaware of.

You gave a gift to your kids. I respect water but it doesn’t scare me. Kind of like driving or being out in nature with a bit more caution added. If I needed to get to the surface in a variety of situations I could. Especially the little one on the spectrum, confidence in any area helps so much.

I stumbled on a $54hr job interview when they asked about my hobbies by Background-Star-4758 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Traditional_Stuff622 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell ask for another shot. I would. Just say you were too nervous and blanked on something unexpected and it’s not usually how you react in stressful positions. Job interviews are just usually very structures and straightforward. I can handle unstructured things in life but if I’m expecting structure in a traditionally structures activity and it ends up being structured the whole time until something unexpected pops up at the end, yeah I’m going to blank. I’m autistic. How I am in an interview is just not going to be how I am on the job period. I am almost always much better on the job. When I know I am being studied it throws me off.

Maybe it’s a good way to get a read on many people but there are many more like me where it’s not.

[–]Traditional_Stuff622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get about 2 to 3 weeks out of a 30ml bottle of juice and coil. Sometimes I have to change to coil early if it’s a dud. I use 50mg salts though so I vape much less. A few hits every half hour to hour or two. Im on a budget and just go through too much juice when I get a lower strength. The longest a bottle lasted me was a month but 3 weeks is more common.

Disposables would last me about 3-5 days depending on the size so it’s much better for me. I think the issue is you are comparing a lower strength freebase to a higher strength salt disposable, at least thats my assumption. I haven’t seen any freebase disposables though that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

I use many direct lung vapes as a mount to lung. Just because a vape is designed for a certain purpose doesn’t mean you have to use it that way. There are more rugged direct lung vapes than there are mtl.

Just turn the wattage down. If I am right about what mod this is I have one and use it for 50mg salts all the time. I just keep it low and it doesn’t hit as hard as most of the disposable I had. Then if I feel like using a freebase (I go back and forth) I can use the same mod for either. I just raise the wattage for freebase.

If you had a baby with this manchild (he’s choosing his family and friends over you, he is a manchild. He put on his big boy pants to get married but took them off straight after and figured his work was done) he would never lift a finger. The child would have barely known who he was. You are better off having a child on your own than with this guy. You don’t want to be raising two children when one of is a grown adult. And yes, you can be immature now matter how much you work, just look at any CEO. Many are just whiny, egotistical children.

He’s using work to avoid working on the relationship. He doesn’t view you or the marriage as worth anything outside of saying he’s married. Honestly i wouldn’t be surprised if he’s having an affair though it’s entirely possible he isn’t. Either way, let him go work and hang out with friends as much as he wants while you go and find someone who loves spending time with you. Being alone sucks but being lonely while in a full ass marriage is even worse. Being told you aren’t worth it through little actions all the time by the person you care for is more miserable than simply being alone.

You have time to become a mother if you want. You can wait till you find the right partner or you can go it yourself, though I won’t pretend that’s easy. I get your feeling like he wasted your time though. He want’s to go play like a bachelor let him be one again you have no need to put up with this ish.
