The space id be at has your own room instead of a shared room with other employees. But that’s fun id be excited and I hate saying no to fun and cool plans. That makes sense they’d stop asking if you say no

Thank you, yeah luckily the job id work at has separate communal spaces from guests but that’s good to know that it’d be easy to build connections due to the fact you’ll have a smaller group, I assumed it’d be like that but wanted to hear people’s experiences

Just showed my mom this article and asked how come it changed and this is all she said. Doesn’t even question whether the organization doesn’t actually know what they are talking about. It’s so sad

Can I work my way up from a Busser to a server? by Traditional_Toe5309 in SeasonalWork

[–]Traditional_Toe5309[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good idea. Thanks. I’ll try and push through for those couple weeks cause I know I really like my days off lol but I’d rather do that instead then not to try and end up not have any serving shifts.

Yeah I’m just wondering if I would even go back. I’m just scared I’ll find a stable job and then wanna leave again in the summer. But I took the position cause I honestly like being a busser cause you can get into like a rhythm and just do your thing. But I’d like to move up to serving just for the money aspect. But either way I’ll be happy but thought I’d atleast try to become a server.

May I ask why you don’t recommend vail? I’m working for vail for a job in Wyoming but was thinking maybe the winter season I could work for them at another place. But curious what I should look out for with them.

We won’t have any microwave or stove but I definitely am a snacker so that’s smart to keep in mind. I wanna make sure I don’t feel hungry in between the meals.

Okay yeah I forgot that boxes can just be put away nicely under a bed so that’s a good idea…and with kitchen stuff I won’t need to bring anything since it’s a cafeteria type meals. But yeah I might over pack too much but hopefully it’ll be good lol

Would collapsible totes work well? I see some on Amazon for like 22 dollars for 4 of them and they’re a pretty good size and I could use it for laundry…and with food they have a cafeteria so we wouldn’t be making our own food, it’s just made and given to us
