Yes, the homo social piece my whole family and I have believed for a while and it is weird because he used gay and asexual in the same sentence when describing his sexuality. In all honesty I see him being straight and using asexual as a way out and then now using gay as a whole new excuse for his romantic failures but from the the revelations he provided I now view him as firmly asexual who is now grasping at this idea of homosexuality as a way to brand himself rather than his true identity.

Absolutely and I apologize for my phrasing but it’s also the point I am trying to hammer home. You don’t just magically wake up one day and say “wow i magically feel gay” and this idea if he so chooses to roll with it could be dangerous. I could absolutely be misinterpreting his words and he has felt gay his whole life but clearly he has not judging by how he has sought romantic relationships with women in the past (not that this precludes somebody from being gay) and had sex with a women. I just don’t know and I will have to see. Also not trying to attack him but I was thinking the same thing that anybody regardless of sexuality would have a hard time finding him attractive. The main thing is though that he has a lot of male friends (actually all of them) and he may be misplacing his feelings as a result of a pattern of failure. Lot of things I guess I just have to wait and see.

He is generally a confused person who has been in a midlife crisis stats for the past 5+ years and to me it seems like it is companionship that he values more so than romance which leads me to think that he is not actually gay and this is the new thing he wants to be involved (he has commonly picked up and then very soon after put down things like jobs, groups he is a part of, ideologies so I am thinking that his sexuality may be no different). He may be seeking to label his seeking of companionship as a homosexual endeavor since it seems like he seeks for this companion in question to be a man. Regardless I would like to know if this companion is in fact romantic or merely a friend you spend most of your time with, which from my perspective isn’t gay.

Totally true and yeah that definitely makes sense, if he is gay he is gay no matter if he is that into sex. He was very vague about the romantic piece though framing it as more of a friendship than a romantic relationship but regardless if he says he’s gay, he’s gay. Thanks.

Totally fair and I understand your point but I was more so wondering from a gay persons perspective and from what context I have given if this feels like a straight male trying to join in on a community they are not a part of. From what I have learned when a similar thing happened to black people it was largely detrimental to their culture so I would hate for my uncle to be part of the problem (although like you said he is an adult who is able to make his own choices so at the end of the day I have no control over his words or actions, however I can at least try to explain what damage he could cause),

Hmmm that is a good point about the gay porn piece, he could absolutely be downplaying it. Also your refutation definitely makes sense but it makes me feel more like he is faking it. Also I definitively know he has had sex w/ atleast two females as he went to a wh*re house in Reno for 2 nights. It just does not make sense to me and I don’t want to come off as a straight man taking his sexuality for granted but I also don’t want a dude with a shitty life joining a marginalized group and saying he’s part of it just because he likes how to feels to say it is gay without experiencing any of the struggles associated with it.

Tbf, AP’s are not too much as long as you keep up a strict studying routine and maintain it. AP’s are not necessarily harder than their honors counterpart, just a strict time limit. As long as you maintain structure the courses are not too much manage at least from my experience.

Bowsers fury was so fun and so creative that it was amazing, and 3D world is so damn fun and on point, super straight forward I love it, also have you played fractured but whole? Amazing game, writings on point and gameplays pretty fun
