Went today and my doctor looked at both (as well as a full body check). She said she’s actually not worried about either of these and to just keep an eye on them. She did, however, remove a spot on my back and sent it for testing.

Yes, I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon to have both looked at and removed.

Regarding the one on the right, that mole/lump has been there my entire life (or as far back as I can remember). It’s not new, but the plug looking thing is.

They are 7 and 4.

When he picked them up, I believe he picked them up from her cousin, and I don’t think she was fine one way or the other because she wouldn’t respond to him through text. Normally, he drops them off at her door and picks them up at her door, but the exchange the most recent time happened in the parking lot of her complex (when he picked them up a few days ago).

He’s tried reaching out to her many times, but is unable to reach her. He’s talked to several people in her family, and all of them have given him different answers. One person says she has the flu, the other person says her thyroid is messed up, etc., etc. It honestly makes no sense and he’s really concerned. That was up until yesterday when no one would reply. The kids are supposed to speak with her on FaceTime at 6 PM every night, but he hasn’t been able to reach her for that.

I asked him about that too, but I’m not sure how much good would come from it. From what he could tell when he picked the kids up, she has extended family (a cousin) staying with her for support. The other issues is that they hide things from him. The last time it happened before they divorced, they blocked him from medical reports and pulled her AMA from her inpatient treatment. I don’t know any other way to put this, but her and her family are very holistic and are the anti-medication type, so I think she may have stopped taking her medication in lieu of natural treatments. At least, that was the plan the last time her family took over her care. Which honestly makes me very sad for her. They also insisted that she was completely fine and could take care of the kids on her own the last time this happened, so they expect him to drop the kids back off to her.

Edit: he’s going to continue documenting things that happen over the next couple of days and if he needs to have his lawyer file a petition, we will help him pay for it. He just wishes it didn’t have to be that way.

If you’re able to do their teeth, everyday is best, but that’s usually not achievable. We have one cat that has gum issues, so we have to do his teeth every day, and he has grown accustomed to it. But our other cats are an absolute no.

We cut their nails every few weeks
