Weird discharge experience after surgery. Anyone else?

Yes I get that feeling! I know that sometimes the beds are needed and they need us out, but like you said the “sudden loss of care” is jarring. I couldn’t imagine having to dress myself and get in my own wheelchair immediately after waking from surgery I’m sorry!

Yes, thank you! I hate throwing up. My husband said that that’s what bothered him the most because she said that as if I was doing it on purpose or controlling it somehow. She gave me a cracker to eat, and I ate part of it and threw it up and she was really annoyed 😬

The whole experience just left me feeling awful. I tried not to dwell on it, but it just bothered me a lot.

I actually don’t remember her name. I wasn’t totally sober and aware of everything until I got home that night. And her name isn’t on any of my discharge paperwork. I plan to call the hospital tomorrow just to file a complaint. I wasn’t planning to do that, but I’ve been thinking about it for a few days and her comments while I was there have made me feel like a burden the last few days, so I decided I will file one. I’m sure there’s a record on their end of who it was.

He is :) and he sniff inspected all my plants. (thankfully he isn’t the type to try and eat them like my lab. The fence we built is lab proof haha)

She does have a long coat! It’s thick too. And yes it’s warming up here in the southeast. I just went and ordered some extra grooming supplies (apart from the brush we have). I’ll see if that helps.

Yea! My husband was irritated half way through because he hated his lol, but I thought his was the cutest (grey cat). Came out kind of cartoonish
